One star is too many for Cricket. Wasted an hour last week at Fruitvale store bc they have only one clerk who is incompetent, to say the least. She incorrectly thought my iPhone was locked even though I made a call in front of her on said phone. AT&T and Apple inspected and confirmed the phone wasn't locked. Stay away if you need a competent wireless business.

Criminal. I wouldn't even give them 1 star. Liars, crooks, and thieves. I was sold a phone by Laila who quoted the wrong price (off by about $1100 or $120 a month), and when my partner decided to return the device - which we bought on December 30th - we called the store on January 5th (the 6th day after buying the phone) to make sure she would be there January 6th (the 7th and final day to return the phone per the receipt). Not only was she not there on the 6th, the store said that contrary to the online assistant Adam and Laila, whom we spoke to in detail on the 5th, the phone was over the 7 day return window. I can not find anywhere online a corroborating description of the 7day return policy Not including the 7th day. They lied to us over and over and, more than anything, they are working hard to stick us with this phone (which, after the payment plan is over, results in us paying $2,050 for an iPhone 14 Plus - roughly $1,400 more than the phone sells for online). This location is doing everything they can NOT to work with us. They are liars and thieves. I honestly believe there needs to be some kind of criminal justice against retailers who act in such bad faith. I am assuming that somewhere, someone at this company can fix our problem - before this, I had had nothing but great experiences with Cricket. But this has totally soured me. Mostly, I think when someone is selling inferior products and their income relies on them selling the most amount of shit they can, you will have this problem. So it's not entirely their fault. Long story short - capitalism sucks.

There is this horrid white woman who works there on Saturdays around 3-5 pm, I didn't catch her name but if you happen to go around this time and find this lady, do not go in. She was incredibly rude and wouldn't speak to me and my mother because we we're speaking Spanish together. She treated the other customers better because they spoke English first. I only added another star because of the Latin worker who kindly helped us and spoke to us in Spanish. But it was clear the white woman would disrespect her as well.

So I just got off the phone with a lady that works here. All I was asking about was how can I pay my phone bill n she was so rude. Telling me that I can’t do it over the phone n all I’m asking is for a simple solution she definitely chose violence for no reason I hope her day gets better tho overall I wouldnt ever go in here personally I don’t appreciate the customer service

Cricket Wireless is the discount version of AT&T. They even gave me a new phone in preparation of the 5G switch. The woman at the Downtown Berkeley store was really good at handling the switch to the new phone -- it took just about 20-30 minutes. Her name is Tina. I LOVE having a store in downtown -- and I strongly recommend Cricket (Discount AT&T) to students, older people, or anyone who likes a bargain! Each time I have needed help, this Berkeley store has been perfect. THANK YOU!!

This post is about the carrier not the store I canceled service from them without going to the new carrier and they charge me 110 dollars to reactivate my phones that's was my fault but a lot of carrier's don't change to reactivate your phones and the worst part is that it will take 5 days to unlock one of the phones when I bought the phones from cricket I asked for unlock phones which they told me no problem but after years of using their service it was still lock and to take 5 days to unlock a phone is ridiculous They just wanted to punish me for leaving their service DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE don't be punished like me

Really good customer service. Quick and efficient. I was helped by Hassan and he really helped me get the right phone and accessories I needed in a quick but efficient manner. I also really like how he kept his mask on and followed all of the covid-19 protocols while helping me out. Definitely recommend coming here!!
