“When I came across this store it was as if the clouds had parted to let the sun shine down on me. Yeah I’m exaggerating but it’s a cool store and the dude who runs it seems laxed. But when he asks you “how much do you think it’s worth?” I recommend quoting some outrageous price and wait for his counter offer. I mean it’s negotiating 101. But when you’re desperate for money, you’ll just be happy if somebody is willing to pay you anything. A mistake I shan’t make again. Yes I do recommend this spot for every hipster rocking a man purse and a cardigan and a SnapBack. Oh my god I just described myself. Bummer?”

“I love this shop. It's my neighborhood place to go for everything I could possibly want when it comes to shopping for new clothing, shoes and accessories. I love popping in at least once or twice a month. When I visit, I like to survey the store and I always seem to find something new or what I want. The merchandise is of quality brands , with trendy and unique items that make it the boutque it is. The staff and owners are friendly and helpful, and are a long time buiness. I kind of consider them a neighborhood institution. They are a huge anchor in this distric. One of my go to's.”
“I've walked by this store many times. I always paused or slowed down because of the great window displays but never walked in: I mean, do I need another pair of earrings?Turns out I do! (And for less than $40!)I also needed very chic trousers a bit reminiscent of Katharine Hepburn, that I can wear all year, because I need all the help as I can get to reach my goal of casual elegance - still unattained but these things will get me closer, lol.Whoever does the buying has a great design sense. Great place to pick up gifts, too. I appreciated how the store owner allowed me to pair and match various baskets even though they were filled with inventory. I was able to pick up last-minute Christmas presents from Nepal, Kenya and India. If you are looking to add more color or geometric designs to your household, there's a drool-worthy section of constellation-inspired houseware (like salt cellars with stars on them) and beautiful basket planters all over the shop.”
“I enjoyed shopping in Personal Pizazz. The selection of vintage looking clothing is strikingly well done. I particularly enjoyed the discount rack with items from $5 to $75. There are rows of cool tops, cashmere items and jeans for days. The jewel selection is very interesting and I'm sure everyone would find something to take home.”

Easily spent over an hour just checking the whole store out and found two jackets that fit what I was looking for and two other fun items I just liked. Four stars cuz their bathroom was broken... though that was probably good so I stopped shopping.”

The demographic in this part of the Bay Area has been downsizing, so there may be some bargains to be had. Stop and take a look, you may be pleasantly surprised.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Slash and their employees! Drove past and taking a quick glance at their outdoor selection I decided to stop and check it out. I have heard of Slash in the past but never visited the store myself. The employees were so nice and helpful, sized me and let my partner and I try on a bunch of pairs of pants and overalls. Left with about $250 worth of clothes. They were all really well priced, like almost better priced than retail, which is rare for Berkeley vintage stores.
