Don’t pump at pump #6!! You’ve been warned! Pump EXTREMELY SLOW!! I finished wiping front and back window down, and it was only at $2.44. Painfully slow!

There's a bigger chevron with higher gas prices down the street. this one has a smaller convenience store. has just the basics. just one cashier on duty. cheap gas is the draw here. convenience store is anemic. very small. social distancing can be iffy when too many people enter. 3 stars for that.

It's a convenient place to get gas, with lower than avg gas prices. Fairly wide islands. Usually clean facility. I'm treated well by staff here. Maybe because I wear a company uniform with ID badge. Driveways are easy to enter, hard to go back to Gilman. So I just get on San Pablo.

Gas prices are less expensive than the Chevron two blocks away on Gilman and San Pablo.

Consistently the gas here is lower than most. A block away it's 20 cents more. For some reason, you have to always go inside to get your receipt. Still a 5 star fill up!

Last night, April 14, 2019 I filled up my tank at the Chevron station located at 1399 San Pablo Ave. in Berkeley. Afterwards I went into the store to buy an ice-cream bar. I asked the attendant how much it cost. He indicated that I had to hold the ice cream up to the window so he could scan it. I didn't quite understand how I was supposed to do this and asked him to explain. He yelled at me angrily when I didn't get it right away. Because he was so rude, I decided not to buy the ice cream. Needless to say, I will never buy gas again at this station again. The owner should fire the attendant.

Lowest price within a few blocks. The Chevron across the street is $0. 25 higher. The Shell station down the street is almost $0. 75 higher. Kind of a junkie run down gas station, but as long as the Gas Works.
