Great venue! Good seats throughout the theater. Lighting, sound and stage are solid in whatever performance being held.

Zellerbach Hall is the perfect venue for the variety of performance art offered by Cal Erformances. Easy walk from BART, with a number of small ethnic cafes nearby for a nice meal before or after the performance.

I have been going to Cal Performances since I was a kid and I really appreciate the diversity of performers they bring in. There really is something for everyone. I hope they continue on for decades! The arts are so important!
Zellerbach is great. They are back to serving alcohol/drinks and snacks. I suppose parking is a negative -- they open the lot under the hall and down by the RSF. I didn't see how much they charge since it was a night show and we were able to find free 2 hour parking on the street but that is something to take into account.

The show was amazing and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. There could have been better food options, but all in all, the facility was well maintained, and the night was very enjoyable.

Beautiful theater. I had mezzanine seating which is slanted such that there are clear sightlines to the stage. Sound was excellent. Attended the Shen Yun production which was fascinating. I loved the dances, the special effects and the music. The narrators enhanced the transitions between the scenes. Great experience! Elevator accessible to upper levels. Parking required short walking distance and a credit/debit card to pay.

I have kids all Uber the bay area in the dance program so I get to go. See shows at multiple colleges and I recommend that the students do the same thing. It would be great for them to see what other student works are are looking like.

SF Symphony without having to cross the Bay Bridge? You betcha! And Esa-Pekka gave us a great show! It seemed the orchestra enjoyed the extra elbow room. But seriously, CalPers puts on many great events. Zellerbach is a bit of a drab cavern, but the Meyer Sound system makes up for it, sonic-wise. I kind of prefer Hertz Hall which can easily send you back to the heyday of 'Modern Classical'. CalPerfs sponsor a great variety of performances at both.
