STAY AWAY. Not a legitimate business. They kept my car for over a month, didn't return my calls, and lied about fixing the problem—the moment I got it back, the car died again. They didn't produce any documentation, so there's no paper trail.
Worst of all, THEY GOT MY CAR TICKETED FOR STREET SWEEPING AND NEVER TOLD ME. See photo for proof: 2303 Tenth St is right behind the shop.
Trash business. You've been warned.

Couldn't recommend this place more highly. Sol is an incredible guy with a deep knowledge - fixed my problem today in an instant and let me hang around while he worked to show me what was wrong. A true, honest guy on pricing too - if you're in Berkeley take your car here. Also - it was on a Sunday when not many people were open, so he really saved me in my time of need. Sol - you've gained a lifelong customer today!

We were on the beginning of a road trip from SF on a Sunday when a critical check-engine light turned on. We couldn’t find anywhere that was open until we found this gem! Not only were they open, but they fixed us up and had us on the way in about an hour. They were incredibly kind and fast, and we were able to relax at the delicious Thai restaurant next door while the owner went to get the part for our car. 100% recommend.

Had my window regulator break after all the other shops were closed and couldn’t put the window up to secure it for the night. Sol answered the phone and met us at the shop 20 minutes later and was willing to fix it the same night. The price was reasonable and he had even washed my car for me when I came to pick it up.

Efficient and courteous, just like the last time I needed to get a smog check. Nothing fancy needed, but they did have an original playstation in the waiting room...that kinda blew my mind. Awesome for an older dude like myself.

Replaced my brakes and rotors here, had it done within the day. Cheaper than the other places I checked with. Sol is super helpful and funny. Wouldn’t be bummed if something else on my car broke so I could come back.
