Walked in hoping they would have time for a brow wax and not only were they super nice about a last minute client, they were incredibly friendly and hospitable. They reassured me they had time for me and my brow artist, Emely, was so kind and a pleasure to speak with. She gave me recommendations for restaurants in the area and truly felt like a friend at the end of the service. This location was great all around!

CoCo did such a great job! I had my brows/lips waxed and brows tinted! Just a magical experience, I truly enjoyed everything about the experience. He was gentle and gave great advice on skincare.
The studio had a great vibe as well. Everyone was super friendly and helpful.

Went there for a tint and wax three days before I was leaving for vacation. Horrible experience! I should have left the moment he started to wax my brows why doing someone else’s. He proceeded to throw hair tint on my brows without any making on my face( which the manager agreed that it was part of the process) when he was finished I wanted to cry… it was horrible! I can’t put into words how bad they were. After he realize he couldn’t fix it he called the manager. She was very nice and did her best to fix my brows. After the tint has worn off( two days later) I have a literal bald spot in the front of my eyebrows and I have to go in my vacation like this. I never do reviews but I don’t want this to happen to anyone else so please do your research before letting someone play with one of the most important part of your face

I have been going to Benefit in Berkeley since I was 17 and this review is long overdue. I got my first brow waxing for prom and it was a wonderful experience; fast forward to over 20 years later and even though I am no longer a Berkeley resident I still go to this location to get my brows done.
I came in and saw a new brow artist, Crystal. She is new to the location but not new to waxing or Benefit. I came and got pretty much my entire body waxed. It had been a long time since I touched a razor lol. Crystal waxed my whole legs, bikini, brows and lip. She was so fast (my hair grows thick and long and it had been well over a year since I had touched ANYTHING) and was so gentle.
I am also extremely picky about my brows and like to draw them on a little bigger but still look extremely natural. She did them perfectly and even talked me into tinting them - which I didn't think was an option for me since my brows are already dark. I am also a woman of color and thought tinting was only for folks with light hair. They looked amazing and I don't have to spend any additional time drawing them in. My brows are pretty thick but sparse in some areas. They looked AMAZING.
I thought the entire process would take much longer and be extremely painful since it had been sooooooo long. I was in and out of there in the time allotted and almost fell asleep lol. She was kind, gentle and reassuring. 10/10 experience. I was seeing another artist who is now on maternity leave. Crystal will definitely be my new artist. Please do yourself a favor and book with her!

Crystal is great! 1st time getting brow lamination. She took her time and delivered an exceptional result including shaping and styling. This location is sparkling clean and has very friendly employees who love what they do! I highly recommend visiting and trying out brow lamination.
