So disappointed with this branch. I came in at 445 pm to look for someone to help me wire money urgently. They didn’t help me at all. They told me to log in the app because it’s already 445 pm. I told them my situation and hoped they’d checked my account but nothing. In addition I told them I wasn’t comfortable wiring that much amount of money on my own using the banking app. No compassion or anything. However my boyfriend who banks with WELLSFARGO across the street arrived 450 pm and was able to wire money. I know the time because he dropped me off first then proceeded to wells Fargo. Was really shocked that they were still able to entertain him… They were able to make small talk too. He was out by 5 pm and had to wait for me because I was on the phone with customer service.Because of this, I have to pay 900 dollars penalty for not wiring the money… very dissatisfied and disappointed!!!

On March 6th, my mother and I met to discuss an additional account that we hadn't been using actively. Esmeralda was incredibly helpful during our visit, taking the time to thoroughly explain the various options available to us, including ways to maximize the benefits of the account or close it entirely. She made an extra effort to accommodate us with an unscheduled appointment and was exceptionally kind throughout the entire process. Additionally, a few weeks ago, Zonya assisted me in setting up my business account, and she was also very helpful and extremely empathetic and kind. Overall, I am very satisfied with the level of service provided at this establishment.

We entered the bank near noon todayStart waiting to open a new account for my sonBecause it’s close to the first day of schoolThere are really a lot of college freshmen waiting for you(As far as I know, at least 22 groups of guests are waiting)The staff also work very hard?? to serve everyoneI'd like to thank managers Gabby and Kimberleythank them very muchWe have soft sofas where you can sit and wait patientlyAnd Gabby has been busy arranging for clientsAnd patiently explained that she didn’t have time to sit down at allI recommend opening a new account??You can fill in the information and get the number plate earlier. Then go out for a meal and then come back and continue waiting. If you need to use the restroom, there's Blue Bottle Coffee nearby. You can buy a cup of coffee and then use the restroom.Wish you all good luck opening a bank account

As for Allison’s review, I was there that day and for someone not having their documents ready for their appointment, she was acting mighty disrespectful. He was trying to do the best he could with his appointments and trying to manage the lobby. Honestly, sounds like a personal problem that YOU didn’t have YOUR documents ready for the appointment. It’s not one person’s fault that he has to carry the load of multiple staff members.

The only half one teller available in the front, And they don't have any customer parking to conduct business inside of the bank. You need to go into a parking lot and pay from 0 to 3 hours $20. What are rip-offHow does a bank open in a location that you don't have any parking for your customers it's? In that a waste of money.

DO NOT GO TO THE NOTARY NAMED DIEGO. Misleading and disrespectful. When I made my appointment, I asked if they would be able to print my document. No response, so I went ahead and printed the document to bring to the appointment. On the corner of their building, one page flew away, so I immediately asked if they could print that page for me before our notary appointment. I arrived about 10 minutes early to the appointment, 15 minutes later Diego came and said his boss would send the document to the printer. Another 20 minutes go by, so I went up to Diego's office and asked for an update, he said he wasn't sure if he could print the document. Keep in mind there is a FEDEX literally across the street (I would have been happy to go print it in the 10 minutes I was early to the appointment). Another 10 minutes pass, and he confirms he couldn't print it. So I ran to go print it from FEDEX, then he says he can't do it because he has back to back appointments. Completely disrespectful of my time and the notion of an appointment. I imagine if I was a man wearing a suit, I would have been treated better.

This location is ALWAYS understaffed. For a location so close to the university, and the only one in the area without driving across town they need more people. There is only one teller ever working with a line out the door and everyone in line has complicated transactions. You need to hire more people and minimize tellers ability to handle transactions and have the employees walking around asking how peoples days are or what their reason for being here is and have them actually help people. Its insane that a bank trip takes an hour just to deposit cash into an account.

Once i started getting an attitude and complaining they called over this guy in a suit who was the only one willing to help me. Extrememly unprofessional. Right from when i walked in they told me they didnt want me to see the teller and to go on the bank of america app and leave. Bank teller straight up told me they were closed at 12:55

This bank is the worst. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS RIP-OFF COMPANY. Find a credit union to conduct your financial business. Bank of America customer service representatives LIE. Specifically, this bank says it takes 2 days for a transfer that ends up being 6 days while they benefit from the interest earned for up to 6 days on YOUR money. The day you call to transfer funds does not count. Then there is two full business days. Finally, on day 4, your funds will finally transfer from one account THAT YOURS (earning no interest) to another account THAT IS YOURS (earning interest). If there is a weekend involved, transfer time increases from 4 days to 6 days. Guess who is earning the interest on YOUR money for 6 days? It's not like the Tokyo Stock Exchange closes. Money never sleeps. Bank of America holds on to your money, does everything it can to NOT transfer your funds, and LIES to you over the phone about setting up your transfer because they are earning money on YOUR money, This bank needs to fail. It's not too big to fail. It needs to fail now. Fail yesterday. This so-called bank has, in fact, already failed in the court of public opinion This crappy-ass bank cares only about it's bottom line and does not give one SHIT, not DAMN ONE SHIT, about their customers.

For a mortgage loan, better off calling anyone other than Peter Morrissey - even another Bank of America branch. For my return to Yelp after a COVID hiatus, punctuated by a pandemic-fueled house hunt, the most important business experience to note is not a take-out restaurant, but rather an adventure in financing. Or more accurately, no adventure whatsoever at BofA Berkeley. I was assigned Mr. Morrissey to work on mortgage, and I couldn't get a call back from him. After taking the initiative to hunt him down by phone for some answers, still no follow-up. Crickets. Compared to my attentive to near-fawning interactions with BofA bankers in Vallejo, as well as other loan officers from Bank of the West and BBVA, this level of non-service was deplorable. Seriously, not sure how this Peter Morrissey would be made a Vice President of anything.
