Avis owes me $126.06. I reserved and prepared to pick up a car at this location months in advanced and when I got to the location on the day scheduled (confirmed by email multiple times), it was completely shut down. I called customer service and they just kept telling me that "it says it's open in our system", even though they could hear me talking with the construction crew outside who confirmed it had been closed for quite some time. The customer service agents eventually offered to try get me a car at another Avis but told me that I'd have to pay the higher rate at that location. After they had me pay for a car at a location that didn't exist?? No?? My spouse and I ended up walking with our luggage to a Hertz nearby and getting a comparable car, however it was $126.06 more than the car I reserved with Avis. We were able to get a refund for the original amount we paid, but I will be pursuing this further until I get the $126.06 we're owed. Pics attached for proof it was completely shut down, nobody works there, no Avis signs out front, gated off, and no cars to rent. lol.

I used multiple car rental companies when I was on holiday in America and Avis Car Rental were by far the fastest, easiest, and best company I used. Great staff and cars!

I was charged £61 on my credit card after return car. I had paid for everything upfront. This fee was charged to me with no explanation, no email. Just randomly charging me.The car was dangerous. The tracking was off.The engine would at times struggle to go above 40 miles per hour causing backups in traffic.There was dog hair all over the carpet in the back causing serious allergies from my father. The cruise control often did not engage.This car should not be on the road.

Rental car stunk horribly like cigarette smoke, affected all my clothes and luggage I had with me, I had to drive with the windows down the entire time, and they didn’t have any other options for what I booked.

Showed up at 11am to pick up my rental and was met with a crowd of people and cars trying to pick up and drop off their rentals. Looks like no one decided to show up for work today and the gate was still lockedEdit: an awesome guy on his day off came in and helped everyone who was waiting

I have a confirmed reservation on 24th dec noon, and they are closed, no notice or anything. I need to call cust service to get another replacement which is further away. Not a good customer experience.

The only reason this place gets a one star is because of location. I had one interaction with a middle-aged middle eastern man who was the rudest, most dismissive representative I've encountered at AvIs. In the event that this makes it to Avis, this was on December 15, 2022 at 2:30 pm. This man was the only staff person present at the time. Which may have been the reason for his bad attitude. I have a picture if needed to inform of his identity. He was not who you want representing your company. If it is, l'll happily redirect my business to Hertz.

Always good, customer service in wonderful and the young man that works the desk is awesome, never no problems and they have you in and out.
