We had a last minute need to repair the back window and quarter glass of our car after a break in incident. We called Auto Glass Express and they got back to us right away. They were able to get us a next day appointment. The service was speedy and well done. The staff were kind, efficient, and helpful. The repair price was very reasonable. This was a positive experience.

Highly recommend this place if you need anything-related to auto glass replacement. I called Friday to make an appointment, and it couldn’t be any easier. Appointment was for 9:30, and promised it would be done within an hour. To my surprise, it was done at 10:15.
The staff was great, including Allison, who took care of all the paperwork and payment. It was pleasure doing business with you!! I’ll definitely come back if I ever need service again.

Got a ding and I’ve always gone to Safelite - but they were quoting $145 to fix the small crack. Sure, they are the most reputable and well known, but $145? Thought I’d try Auto Glass Express and got my ding fixed for $70. They take appointments and were done in 30 minutes. Just in time for me to walk across the street to Mi Terra and got onions for 49 cents/lb (Safeway charges $1.99/lb). The owners are super nice and professional - and everyone wore uniforms. Would go back (driving on 880 you know I will.. if you know, you know).

Fantastic experience with Auto Glass express, safelite jerked me around for a month waiting on a window, AGE had my window in a couple days and came out to my house as soon as it was in stock. Great experience, kind people.

Auto Glass Express has rescued us again … thank you! In the past, we have used Auto Glass Express to replace a smashed window. This time, our window motor/regulator stopped working and the window would not roll up. The Auto Glass Express team member came to our house, figured out what part was needed, and completed the repair. He was on time, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. His work was well-worth the cost and we highly recommend this business.

The need for shops like this to exist has always made me sad as a Bay Area resident, but I'm beyond grateful for Auto Glass Express in Berkeley (off San Pablo Ave). I've unfortunately had my windows regularly smashed in San Francisco for more than a decade and have generally had unpleasant experiences during this process. It just happened for the first time in East Bay, but this is not the first time I've taken my car to Auto Glass Express.
They are always super responsive (even if you call in advance to make sure they have your specific glass on hand to avoid additional waiting), and the level of customer service is incredibly professional. Great prices and super efficient service. I don't take my car anywhere else in the Bay Area for smashed windows or mirrors these days.

Fernando was the person i deal with there,and he seems nice and upfront on what the service price you'd be looking for!Myself,i called for a small tiny nick on my windshield;ended up getting affordable price than everywhere else around.In short,dont bother calling others call them first regarding glass repairs!Here is before and after

I had a great experience getting my windshield replaced here. Price was fair, job was quick and efficient. I asked them to replace my windshield wipers as well and they were able to do that, which was great. It's in a wonderful little area in Berkeley, close to nice cafes and a cute neighborhood.

These guys were absolutely incredible, gave me a quick quote, got my glass fixed the same day, they took my car into the shop for the front camera calibration, they cleaned the broken glass out of my car, and they even deal with my insurance company to help submit the claim.
Basically everything I would think to ask for and then a little more. The quote was at a competitive price and then I paid less than they quoted me.
I would unhesitatingly recommend this service to anyone in the area.
