The staff at this florist shop showed surprisingly rude attitude. I understand that changes to the bouquet might have been inconvenient, but that doesn’t justify the lack of professionalism and courtesy. A florist should bring positivity and care, not make customers feel uncomfortable with their attitude. I expected a better experience and left disappointed.

I sent a bouquet to my deceased sisters, partner. The bouquet arrived on time. I didn't actually get to see the flowers, but I was hearing about it for weeks afterwards how it was the most beautiful bouquet of flowers they had ever seen!

I would like to give the highest recommendation for Ashby Flowers. The owners are fantastic. The workers are also wonderful and so helpful. I have a strong memory of them helping me out in 2005, after my mom had passed away. I went into Ashby Flowers to buy a small bouquet of pink roses to put at The Mausoleum, where my Mamá was laid to rest. I remember having very little money at the time of her passing. So a simple bouquet was all I could afford. When I asked the woman that was helping me for what color of roses I wanted my voice cracked, and I started to cry. She immediately reached out to me with her arms outstretched, and gave me a bear hug. I will never forget that moment for the rest of my Life. This story is very personal, but I hope it helps you understand what type of businesses, small and wonderful, we have in the City of Berkeley. This is not a review. A huge shout-out to Ashby Flowers! I ordered flowers for my daughter's 21st birthday and they were gorgeous! My daughter loved them, said they were one of the prettiest arrangement she's ever received, and the blooms are opening in stages -- keeping the arrangement looking amazing for even longer. Marcy and the team did a fantastic job - including a quick turn on the order and timely delivery. I can't wait to use them again.

Did not have a good experience. Lady was on a personal call the entire time. Gave me 1 suggestion and then told me that if I didn't like it then I have to pick myself. Picked flowers for a bouquet and no arrangements were made. The flowers were just rubberbanded together and then wrapped in paper. Extremely disappointed.

I searched high and low all over the internet for a florist who could deliver 60 birds of paradise flowers with only a day's notice. After a lengthy search, it seemed no one had any anywhere. As a last ditch effort, I thought I should just mass message local businesses here on Yelp and see what would come up. Tbh I didn't think anyone would be able to accommodate the request since the deadline was so soon. Within ten minutes of my message blast, Marcy responded. Mind you, this was at 2:45 am. She said she would try her best. And her best she absolutely did... She was highly-communicative. I had told her I prefer over-communication rather than under-communication, so she was great about checking in every few hours to help ease my nerves. Long story short, she was sweet, humble, communicative, was on top of every step of the order, was able to acquire the flowers we needed, and the quality of the flowers were perfect! I will be coming back to Ashby Flowers for any and all future flower needs after such an above-and-beyond experience. Thank you again, Marcy! You really saved our day...

Looked at the hours of operation and selected this flower shop based on my timing and birthday party I was going to. Showed up and they were closed before posted closing hours. Thanks a lot now I'm showing up without flowers.
