"I recently used Access Rigs for cleaning my rugs, and I couldn't be happier with the results! The team was professional, prompt, and did an excellent job restoring my rugs to their original condition. Not only were they thorough in their cleaning process, but they also handled my delicate rugs with care. I highly recommend Access Rigs to anyone in need of top-notch rug cleaning services! I have two beloved rugs that were in need of serious repair to their fringe and edges after a young cat had her way with them.The work they did was of a very high quality. They also washed the rugs and they look fantastic.Having had work done by other rug merchants in the area, I was looking for someone I felt I could really trust to do good work and not charge an arm and a leg. Whilst walking down Solano several months ago, I passed Access Rugs and the owner was standing outside and greeted me in such a lovely an genuine way that I clocked the name of the business and knew I would return to this kind man's shop when I had work that needed to be done.Lucky me to have met him that day!

Ata and "family" at Access Rugs on Solano is a true find. I parked across the street to take the first of three lamps and shades to Sue Johnson and wandered into Access. What serendipity! After looking at numerous oriental rugs, most dating back to the period between 1870 and 1895, I selected two from Iran. Ata's selection is phenomenal and his business model is 5-star service. He delivered several rugs to my home on two occasions and allowed me to keep 2-3 at a time for many days, such a nice guy. After moving lots of heavy furniture around twice, I couldn't be happier with my antique rugs and 4 custom cut pads. He also sent a smaller one to Turkey for repair and we expect it back in 6-7 months. If you are looking for high-quality antique oriental rugs at a fair price and a no-pressure "take your time" process, you can't do better than Ata and Access. Superb!

Ataullah did an amazing job cleaning a Morrocan rug but also fixed a shearling Navajo pillow that required a great deal of skill. He has a high quality inventory including hard to find pieces and beautiful craftsmanship that can last for generations!

i am so happy with my rug! ata was so accommodating. not only did he give me a great price but he also personally delivered the rug, carried it up 3 flights of stairs and spread it out in my condo. he is a very kind and trustworthy person. i plan to purchase from him again for future rugs!

It was a seamless experience to get my huge rug cleaned. They scheduled a same day pick-up, explained their cleaning process, and shared the cost upfront. It was quickly finished and dropped back to my home wrapped and cleaned. Highly recommend for their speed, professionalism and customer service.

Access Rugs on Solano Avenue in Berkeley is a medium size rug store selling beautiful, well-priced Persian rugs and is owned and operated by the very friendly and helpful owner, Ataullah Khoja. "Attau" for short helped me and my wife recently: he allowed for us to take home two rugs to try out before making a purchase decision. This made all the difference. Rugs are really art for the floor and you need to see the rugs in their future environment before making the right decision. Pictures of rugs do not help very much and for some reason do not translate into a good depiction of their true beauty. With Attau's help we made our purchase: he also gave us a good discount from the listed price, and so he is willing to negotiate with his customers to make a good and fair deal. An approachable store with a beautiful collection of mostly new, hand knotted, clean rugs in the traditional methods and in all sizes, colors and price ranges. A great find!

I can't say enough about the quality of service I received here. My carpet had been outside for two years and had moss growing on it, seriously. They came and picked it up and washed it several times and got it as clean as possible. The owner came and personally delivered it back to my home, and was so kind and so helpful. I will definitely go back there again for service!

We're very happy with our rug cleaning. My wife called for an estimate and got a very reasonable one. The gentleman from Access Rugs came to our home, assessed our rug, offered us some additional options for repair, rolled it up and took it away. A few weeks later (it was over the holidays) he called back that it was ready, he delivered it, and it was dry and clean.Not much else to say. A great experience.

I had my mother-in-law's beautiful rug cleaned at Access Rugs. It had been abused with all sorts of food rubbed in over several years. Access Rugs did a fantastic job and got all the stains out. I am so happy. The owner, Ata, is extremely nice. I was amazed at how many truly beautiful rugs he has for sale, much nicer than most other shops for Middle Eastern and South Asian rugs. He has great taste, quality rugs, really nice complementing colors, interesting designs, great variety of styles and sizes. His prices are more than fair, and amazing when on sale. I highly recommend checking out this shop.
