Esmeralda was incredibly helpful during our visit, taking the time to thoroughly explain the various options available to us, including ways to maximize the benefits of the account or close it entirely. She made an extra effort to accommodate us with an unscheduled appointment and was exceptionally kind throughout the entire process. “I usually don't write a lot of comments but for this particular place I will after all this nonsense from people. I come here twice a month to cash my check. I have never had a bad experience with any of the employees. But on the other hand most of their customers are so DEMANDING. They treat employees like trash and not like human beings. I have witness several times customers being impatient, disrespectful and using profanity towards them. I understand that we are all going through difficult times but it doesn't mean that us as customers are to treat them badly. It seems like nobody has ever worked in customer service nor understand what happens behind the scenes. Yes there is always room for improvement but non of us are able to judge!!! Because people write down things here but never share how they approached the bank employee- did you arrive yelling? Did you demand instead of listening?. I only want to say. Analyze how you react and treat people like you want you to be treated. Not because we are customers it means that we get to treat people who are putting their life's at risk and leave their family like trash. I truly believe in karma and what ever you wish for will come back to you. WHY IS IT SO HARD TO BE HUBBLE NOW IN DAYS????????”

The bank-tellers and workers make more than up for the rough and sketchy block they got assigned to by higher-ups and city planning. Helpful, friendly, clean (inside). Outside: Bank customer's personal safety does not seem a priority to Bank of America HQ or Berkeley city planning.

They walked me through the process of opening a business account. Amarita even researched something with me, which proved to be helpful because when I got home I wouldn’t have found the information on the website had I not seen it at her office.Chase is so much better than Bank of America. And apparently are the largest in America so we don’t have to worry about it going under like recent banks around here have.Super happy with my experience and glad I came here (which is further away) to open a new account.”
