Amazing in every way. The food is incredible. The staff make the experience outstanding. Francine in particular was great for the staff. Can’t recommend enough.
Food & drinks: Amazing menu of farm to table style meals. Everything I ate there was exceptional!

A few weeks ago we stayed at this awesome B&B. Mike in the office is just an incredible person ..as actually all of the employees are...including those in the cafe. Our room was wonderful...clean, spacious and the shower was wonderful. The breakfast that comes with your room is provided at their cafe....you pick from a menu and it's beyond just your average continental breakfast ..it's delicious...and the staff is helpful and courteous....
Well just can't wait to return,..Thank you to all that make the Inn a place to stay......

We ate at the Cafe at the Inn and the service and food was over the top excellent! The burger was perfect. I had the carrot/ginger soup and grilled cheese sandwich. Both beyond good. The staff was fantastic, friendly, helpful and felt like we were their special customers! Even the chefs came to our table ! Will go back and tell others about this excellent new Benicia addition

This Inn is fantastic!! We didn't expect to stay in Benicia on our road trip to AZ and we're delighted to find such a gem! Owners and cafe employees are very friendly and accommodating, our room was spacious and comfortable and the cafe serves delicious breakfast. We wish time allowed for another night. Plus, Benicia? What a surprise! Great restaurants, interesting little shops and nice walk out to the pier. We would have liked to spend more time here. Check it out! Highly recommended!

When opening a restaurant in a small town, especially for breakfast, you should be cognizant of the great restauranteurs that came before you. There's no reason to be cute or serve super upscale sustainable food to people that just want a great breakfast. I ordered bacon and eggs with toast. The chef who seems like a very wonderful guy, decided that all eggs are served Sunnyside up, which is not what I requested. The food came on a cold plate with limp toast, 2 pieces of greasy bacon and some strange thing they called hash Browns for $16. The idea that everything is locally sourced is wonderful, but if it doesn't give you the beautiful quality of food you love, then what difference does it make. The location is wonderful and lends itself to a place where you just want a simple great breakfast with hot coffee and good company. We will wait for a while and try again.

My husband and I were in Benicia visiting family and decided to try out this charming inn. Fortunately for us, our visit coincided with the grand opening of their cafe. The owners, Tracee and Dennis, are the perfect people to operate this bed & breakfast. They are super amicable, accommodating, and hospitable. The cafe will serve breakfast and lunch to the public, which offers a unique dining option to the beautiful town of Benicia. There is additional talk about weekly wine tastings! The entire staff is wonderful and we absolutely loved our stay. Our food experience was incredible. I could go on and on. . . . We will definitely be back and I would recommend this Benicia Bay gem wholeheartedly.

On 9-16-23 they had a Pop Up Brunch and were woefully unprepared. They advertised it as being between 10 AM and 2 PM. We arrived at 12:30 and it took 20 minutes for someone to come to our table. Once they took our drink order, it took them 15-20 minutes to return, but it wasn’t our waitress so we couldn’t place our food order. We saw one group get up to leave because they had waited so long, but the food was finally about to come out so they stayed. We had to flag someone down to ask if they could take our order and she said they were out of the two things we had wanted. By this time it was just past 1:30 and we had been there for one hour. We asked for the drink check so we could leave and eat somewhere else. She told us we had to go inside to pay. So we went inside and made a comment about the fact that we had to wait an hour and no one had taken our order. The young woman at the counter wanted to know if we had been told by our waitress that they were out of food. We told her no, we were not. Had we not decided to leave and go pay the check we would have just continued to sit there, not knowing that they could not serve us. I can’t comment about the accommodations of the hotel, but I can say I wouldn’t recommend it as a place to go eat.

My wife and I traveled to Benicia, California to attend our granddaughter's graduation from Benicia High School. We spent part of our stay at The Inn at Benicia Bay, specifically from June 9, 2023 until June 13, 2023. We had an absolutely fantastic stay. The owners, Tracee and Dennis, are warm, welcoming, extraordinary people. We stayed in the room known as the Orient Express. It was on the ground floor and opened onto a terrace. The room was nicely appointed. Heating and cooling worked perfectly. The bed was super comfortable. Each morning we choose to go to the breakfast room. You could have breakfast delivered to your room. Breakfast itself was unique and delicious. The Inn is located a very short walk from the main area of Benicia. There are plenty of restaurants, places to get a refreshment and lots of small interesting shops.I wholly heartedly recommend spending a weekend or a week with Tracee and Dennis at The Inn at Benicia Bay.

The Inn at Benicia Bay is a gem! We were so warmly welcomed by the Front Desk. We felt like returning family rather than first time guests. The location cannot be beat as it is walking distance to several lovely restaurants and to the Bay. On Saturday night you can eat at the Inn's own lovely Italian restaurant. I only wish the restaurant was open more often and for later hours. The food was excellent! In the morning, the Inn offers a light breakfast in your room. They offer an excellent cappuccino, the equal that can only be found in Italy! We can't wait to visit again.

What a great find via Yelp! We love Benicia and found out they have a wonderful farmers market on Thursday evenings. We wanted to explore this and bar hop so we decided to stay the night even though it's only 20 minutes from our house. This is stated as a bed and breakfast but our room was spacious and we had our own bathroom. It's just a block of the main strip. Beautiful old house that's been sectioned off to separate rooms. We stayed in the Commandants Quarters which is at the very front of the house and was originally the living or sitting room. Sitting area, 4 post queen bed, jacuzzi tub for 2and get this a Sauna.. that is a first for us. The had a happy anniversary card is our room and I was able to pay extra for a 1/2 dozens roses to be ready in the room when we arrived. We loved everything and will be back again. FYI the free breakfast was wonderful and the inn keeper Paula was awesome!

I didn't stay at the inn. I ate at the bistro. Loved it. Nice outdoor tables and chairs.
