Always a great spot and prices are reasonable. The out of stocks and
low stocks on the website for the store are kept pretty accurate. Lots of variety. One of the best big chain pet stores in the area.

Great staff! I was informed at the register that because I had bought 3 cat treats, my 4th was free! They didn't need to tell me that. But they did!

Every time I come in here, there is a party of employees at the cash register, but no one acknowledges you. The only one who has been helpful over the years is the older guy with glasses. Friends of animals was a horrible experience of the same exact thing. The volunteers are in the way of the narrow cubby they keep cats, socializing with each other but ignoring the people looking to adopt. There is only this option in benicia. I drive out of town.Please, don't get it wrong. I try back every once in a while to give them the benefit of the doubt. But I never seem to leave happy. I'll try back in a year or so. I do want to support local2 stars for that 1 guy. Thank you, sir!

I have gone in for a few things before and it was always pleasant. Yesterday I needed dewormer and flea removal stuff for a very sensitive senior cat. The employee must have seen the look of confusion on my face and came over to assist me. She took the time to explain some of the products and the ones she uses. I really appreciate that personalized customer care. You can't get that with online shopping. Thank you Pet food Express Benicia

Oh my goodness it was so clean and well organized! All the employees were helpful and kind naturally. Although the prices are a tad bit higher than other places, it is worth the extra few cents for the comfort knowing you have quality items and safe pet friendly toys
