This review is only for the dog bathing experience. I don't mind paying the $18.00 to clean my pup there but every time I go the area is filthy, there is fur everywhere including the aprons you have the option of using are always covered fur. Floor is wet and covered in fur, even the hose for air drying are covered on fur. I understand dogs are in and out of that area but they should at least have a cleaning schedule where they frequently check and clean that area. I was the only one cleaning my dog this last time and I left covered in another dogs fur, it could've only came from the drying hose or the tub itself. So disappointing.

I have gone in for a few things before and it was always pleasant. Yesterday I needed dewormer and flea removal stuff for a very sensitive senior cat. The employee must have seen the look of confusion on my face and came over to assist me. She took the time to explain some of the products and the ones she uses. I really appreciate that personalized customer care. You can't get that with online shopping. Thank you Pet food Express Benicia

Got talked into doing the buy 3 and get a 4th free because we could return/exchange them later on. Unfortunately my dogs did not like the product. So in an attempt to return them even for store credit they refused 3 unopened bags due to a new recent '30 day return' policy. The cashier did not even suggest to take the food off my hands because what am I to do with it now? The dog food was not cheap and I am out at least $150. Very disappointed with the service and will not be a returning consumer.

I went into the store on July 16 and Alexis help me find flea medication for my kittens and the mama cat. Unfortunately they also got worms so she help me find the medication for that as well. Alexis is a real gem. She is so helpful. Her customer service is top notch. The store is so well organized and very clean. Makes it really easy to find items you're looking for. There was also a spay and neuter Clinic when I went in that day and the ladies were so helpful, they help me find a place that goes based off of your income so I will be able to get these four boys fixed before I find them happy homes and also the mama cat spayed as well. So thank you ladies at the adoption clinic. You were very helpful and as always I just realized I had posted seven months ago and didn't even realize Alexis is so helpful that I sent her a second review. Now that is super customer service. You're amazing I'll be back.

Worst visit ever. The GM was not the nicest person. Shocking. This WAS my favorite location. I often came here because PFE guarantees their product. I never have to worry about returns or exchanges. Even prior to this location I've supported PFE. Today I was like at differently as if I didn't have any valid receipts for my items. I brought 2 receipts. I've been coming to this store since 2019. Spent thousands here on a bi-weekly basis. Even with my prior dogs. But when I have a receipt and I needed to exchange an item before, there were No questions ever asked. Now the new GM (with dark hair) never introduced herself was not customer service savvy. She claimed my item was not on the receipt. But when I reviewed it again (luckily) the item was there. Open or un-opened items were always guaranteed. She was not clear or even sure how the new policy was or did not quite explain it properly. She claims new management took over. Quite obvious. The lack of customer service truly shows. When another associate tried to re-ring my exchanges she fixed the error. I know I purchased all of these items together. So was quite rude. I'm not supporting this location ever again. You're not the only pet food store near my home. I've always praised Per Food Express in the past and told other people to go there because of their guarantee and the buy 3 get 1 free deal. If there was a negative star here that would be my rating. Not my loss.

I was next door and decided to stop by. They have really good quality items here. They had a car adoption going on . They also had refrigerated dog and cat food. They didn't have my cats food but we got a different type. We got a huge bag of litter pellets. We also got two birthday hats. I also noticed they had birthday cookies for dogs. Definitely worth checking out they were so cute. They also had dog washing stations. It was a little expensive but definitely worth the quality. It's also extremely clean in here.

This is a fantastic store for all of your pet's needs. The employees are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The store manager, Kristen, personally helped me select a cat collar and name tag for my almost 10 year old kitty, Elsa, who has never worn a collar. I'm happy to report that Elsa is wearing her new collar/name tags this evening. Thanks Kristen and staff!!

The staff here are always helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to food recommendations and the store holds a wide variety to choose from. Not to mention, they have a cute selection of clothes and toys for all dog sizes.They also have a vet that will station there a few times a month to do ear cleanings and whatnot. It really is a one stop shop!

Excellent Customer Service!! Especially Kristin, who has helped me many times. Staff is very attentive but not pushy at all! It's a pleasure to shop here and you can also order online for same day delivery. When we first found our little orphaned kitten, my husband went in to buy some supplies and was actually given a little starter kit to help us out. I have been a loyal customer ever since!!

Today, I went browsing the store with my infant son. While there, the local school had let out and there were a lot of kids within the shopping center. A group of 3 girls (young teenagers) came in together. Within seconds, the employee at the front said that they have to be with a parent to be in the store. After the girls left, the employee reiterated "No kids allowed in here!" and laughed. It felt very odd and honestly made me uncomfortable so I strolled right on out of there. Since when are kids not allowed in a place of business? Surely it is safer for them to be there in comparison to the sidewalks or parking lot. I remember when I was young, I would have to run errands, buy supplies and such while my mom was at work. What a weird rule to have. I don't plan to stop by again. I'll go out of my way to support another business. This really put a weird feeling in my gut.
