“I had these guys construct me a monstrosity of a cover for a large 130 year old antique cabinet. Jesse was the one who helped me, awesome customer service and he knew his stuff! He called me to give me an eta, then they called me on that day to tell me it was done! I picked up the piece today and the lady who took my payment was funny and friendly! The piece it fit perfectly over my cabinet! They did a great job on the dimensions. There was a little hiccup with some scratches, but the boss took care of me, very kindly and professionally. These guys really went the extra mile to make my custom piece. So it's all good in the hood and IThanks, Tap Plastics!”

“I love J&M. They have every fastener you could ever need, and they are incredibly helpful. They were a key partner during our build out of a tiny house on wheels -- something I had never done before. There were dozens of times when we had no clue what bolt or screw was needed for the stage we were at. But Justin and the crew always helped me find just the right thing -- even when I didn't know what it was called! They have a great inventory, and I love that they also carry premium drill bits and Diablo saw blades. If you need any sort of fastener, I'd go here before ever heading to a general hardware store. Below are some pictures of the tiny house on wheels that we built with 30 female high school students. J&M's fasteners were used in EVERY piece of the construction, and we're so thankful to have them as a partner.”

Their torx sockets are high quality and don't distort with higher torque. I could go on... This store is a gem. They have great customer assistance, and the lines are never that bad, unlike other HF stores. The manager actually works the floor and exudes knowledge about the inventory. Employees share the attributes.”

“I was visiting a family in Benicia and I have a 400+ miles drive back to SD and I wanted to make sure my coolant was good to go as it was hot. I drove to southampton ace hardware and it was close so I drove to Martinez today. Victor, from ACE Hardware was a God sent. He helped me find the right coolant, got his gear to make sure he wasn't going to burn the splash as my engine was hot. He poured the coolant for me and made sure I was good to go home. The service was beyond excellent. The affordability of their items are wonderful, and the store was well stacked. Thank you Victor. If you own this store- Victor deserves a raise he is a great asset to your company.”

“I have alot of tools and harbor freight has great prices. I always end up buying to much cause of the great prices. The only negative things I have to say is one time an employee was very rude to me and in my opinion they need more staff on the floor to help find things ect. Other then that have always have had good experience in the store. I have had alot of people talk trash on there tools but my response is their hand tools have a lifetime warranty and they are a quarter the price of brand name tools (so I could by 4-5 from harbor freight for one brand name one) and have only had acouple tools break and I use them alot but get a free replacement can't beat that. Also I have shopped at many of their locations and have always had a good experience. Highly recommend shopping at Harbor Frieght!!”

I pay a bit more there, but go there for the service, especially Dennis. He is very knowledgeable and if he doesn't know the answer, he finds it. I went with 4 stars due to their hours. “This is the go to place for repair of landscaping and garden equipment. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I have had my lawnmower repaired here. The staff gave me tips on how to maintain my lawnmower better so that it lasts much longer. I also went back and one of the staff showed me how to load and rethread my weed whacker's string. This was very helpful. I am very happy with my repair experiences there. They also have high quality equipment for sale.”

“I don't know what it is about Ace Hardware, but some of their locations have the most friendly and helpful staff that I've ever encountered (at any store!), and its consistent - every single time I go in.I was in the Benicia location just recently for my first time and it reminded me of the Walnut Creek store, which is absolutely my favorite for customer service. Benicia has the same level of enthusiasm that I was hoping for. Their employees totally made me feel welcomed (with a greeting when I entered); valued (the gentleman that helped me - wish I could remember his name - Robert? - didn't laugh at my dumb questions or comments when he helped me find a door sweep for my front door - and explained to me reasons I might not want certain types of this product as opposed to ones that would be better for an outside-accessing door); and also appreciated (I had a sincere thank you from the cashiers when I left (receipt says Krish but there were two of them together).I was in and out of the store in less than 5 minutes with the item I needed. I almost brought a pie home too, but I wasn't going straight home and I didn't want it to defrost in the car (the frozen pies are out of this world, and they're actually a couple of dollars less at this location than they are in Walnut Creek). If you've never tried one of their bake-at-home frozen fruit pies, take my advice and pick your fave fruit, bake it according to the instructions you can find online, (egg wash and all), and be ready to sing these same praises. Theyre really, really good! Which I guess goes right along the Ace theme of setting the customer service standard very high, and then exceeding it every visit.”
