“I love J&M. They have every fastener you could ever need, and they are incredibly helpful. They were a key partner during our build out of a tiny house on wheels -- something I had never done before. There were dozens of times when we had no clue what bolt or screw was needed for the stage we were at. But Justin and the crew always helped me find just the right thing -- even when I didn't know what it was called! They have a great inventory, and I love that they also carry premium drill bits and Diablo saw blades. If you need any sort of fastener, I'd go here before ever heading to a general hardware store. Below are some pictures of the tiny house on wheels that we built with 30 female high school students. J&M's fasteners were used in EVERY piece of the construction, and we're so thankful to have them as a partner.”
“I find myself going to Big Creek several times a week due to the magnitude of projects I have going on in both my business and personal lives. I pay a bit more there, but go there for the service, especially Dennis. He is very knowledgeable and if he doesn't know the answer, he finds it. I went with 4 stars due to their hours. For me, my projects don't stop because it's 5:00 or because it's Sunday.”

“This is the go to place for repair of landscaping and garden equipment. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I have had my lawnmower repaired here. The staff gave me tips on how to maintain my lawnmower better so that it lasts much longer. I also went back and one of the staff showed me how to load and rethread my weed whacker's string. This was very helpful. I am very happy with my repair experiences there. They also have high quality equipment for sale.”

Or to look up the item ahead of time and write down the isle and the bay the item is otherwise you'll spend the time ready each isles contents if you don't come here a lot. “This place is absolutely the best. I had never heard of Dunn Edwards before but am so glad I decided to stop in. Lex is so nice, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and just simply amazing. The rest of the staff is also very nice and welcoming every time I stop by. I had been to other paint stores before I decided to purchase from here but the experience was not even close. I mean they were polite and all but not as thorough. Lex asked great questions and made me think about things I would’ve never thought about which helped me make good decisions when picking out colors, quality, etc. I am planning on painting my whole house, inside and out, and will continue to purchase from here thanks to Lex. (PS I am not a reviewer as it is too time consuming in my opinion but Lex and Dunn Edwards PH deserve this one.)”

“I had these guys construct me a monstrosity of a cover for a large 130 year old antique cabinet. Jesse was the one who helped me, awesome customer service and he knew his stuff! He called me to give me an eta, then they called me on that day to tell me it was done! I picked up the piece today and the lady who took my payment was funny and friendly! The piece it fit perfectly over my cabinet! They did a great job on the dimensions. There was a little hiccup with some scratches, but the boss took care of me, very kindly and professionally. These guys really went the extra mile to make my custom piece. So it's all good in the hood and IThanks, Tap Plastics!”

“Excellent service great people.little.pricey but good at first both guys in front counter seemed bothered by the. Questions I was asking as if km supposed to.know everything about the store and items they sale can see how if I'm was not a contractor this would not be the place I want to visit not supper nice even a little.rude at first richard came to help after the first guy look frustrated about my.questions all I wanted was to know about some colors for concrete most places have it by name but here that are sorted by number so I didn't know this Richard took more time.to.explain to me the difference and prices and such ended up spending over 300 dollars in tools and stuff... again not very friendly but ok place to buy I saw some regulars came in and the guy was kicking around with them and stuff I think he just doesn't like to.deal with people that has questions which sucks because that's why you should go to a place that specializes in stuff like this”
“I had a wonderful experience at Golden State Lumber's Concord location. I talked to Mr. Kevin Matteri before arriving, communicating about an Eagle Project I was working on, and he was very helpful as soon as I arrived. He was friendly and took me to look at many kinds of wood to see which one would work best for my project. His suggestions were useful and he even helped me pick out the right screws for the wood I wanted to use. He was extremely generous with his donation for my Eagle Project and was kind throughout the entire process. I greatly appreciate his help and would like to thank him for his excellent customer service. I would also like to thank an employee who was very helpful in cutting the wood to the sizes I wanted. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name but he was very deliberate and took his time cutting the wood to the precise measurements even though they were close to closing time. He was also very patient and he did not seem to mind helping us out, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, I had an amazing experience at Golden State Lumber because all of the staff were kind and patient and their generous donation to my project is one I will never forget. Please make sure to visit Golden State Lumber if you want high quality wood and fantastic customer service!”

“I wasn't expecting to review Home Depot. But my last interaction I just wanted to share as it really was amazing. Customer service on multiple levels. It had been sometimes since I use my Home Depot card and that was not an option while I was shopping online. I did reach out to the customer service line and the gentleman was very helpful pleasant Was able to find me easily and we had a wonderful discussion. I added a fairly significantly priced item to my order at that time mainly because I just felt comfortable. Customer Service on the phone call was above and beyond. Now I had set both of my orders it had to be split, because the large one was coming from a different warehouse For delivery. A smaller order of some galvanized roofing material and a couple other things I set up for delivery. It was easy it was very inexpensive and it was at my house before I woke up look I've got access to trucks if I ask, I do have a utility trailer. It's kind of a pain in the you know what to hook up and get down there and get back home absolutely, wonderful experience with that delivery now I am able to jump to work first thing this morning with everything that I need. I will continue to shop at Home Depot. Thank you for the great service.”
