Incredibly rude.

I visited this shop yesterday (not sure why Yelp says they are closed) and although was encouraged by the amount of inventory when I first walked in the door, that feeling quickly changed. It became apparent that most of their items are way over-priced (I was with a friend who has collected antiques for decades and knows well their market value). Not only that but the gentleman (I use the word loosely) "minding the shop" could not have been more rude if he had tried. We had to almost beg to see some items in the cases, and both his demeanor and tone of voice told us we were bothering him.If you don't want to welcome potential customers into your shop, don't open the doors. Perhaps, if you are not already closed, you ought to consider doing so.

Great variety of finds here! Owners are very kind and humble. Only happened to stumble on this place when walking down the street and saw some books outside on a table. Glad I stopped in!

So many beautiful treasures tucked in this little store and the owners are extremely nice and gracious. A lot of antique stores on first street are quite pricey but I’ve always gotten really good deals here. Can’t wait for them to open back up.

Great time has a lot of great stuff. There is everything that you need there like toys to statues to cooking appliances. If you are looking for something to do I would differently recommend coming here.

Many hidden treasures in this larger store. If you are looking for something specific, ask the owner, he may have it in a hidden corner. Take your time and really look at what the store holds.

5/6/13ONE OF BENICIA'S LARGER ANTIQUE STORESI've been in here a couple of times now and really enjoy slowing walking around this store. If you like antique-shopping, head to Benicia. Several little stores host collections of cutlery, jewelry, statuettes, etc. This one is located on the main street in downtown by the waterfront. You enter into a small room that leads to another, much larger, room. A third room connects to that. All three rooms are packed with fun items and it really is a treat to walk around. The owners are an elderly couple and are very sweet. Ask them about the items and they'll be happy to tell you stories about what they sell. Also be sure to check out a picture box at the front of the store. It's a pretty cool antique that has a viewing hole and shows slides inside. Really neat!
