They've done things like not charged us for diagnosis (normally there is a charge) when they know we've been financially tight, and they've added coolant at no charge when they noticed it was low. These and other examples like this are what keep me so appreciative and loyal to this shop.

“Tony is the most honest mechanic I have encountered in my adult life. He has serviced my E430, CLK500, R350, E350, C230, and my SL550. If there were 6 stars I would give it to him because not only is he honest, his prices are reasonable. The best story I have is the following: Many years ago the check engine light came on when I was driving my E430. I was frantic. I rushed over to star motors and asked Tony to look at the car. He attached the computer and said, "Morris, your gas can is open." I left (as I always do) with a well running car!”
“I have been getting my 2020 330i serviced and maintained by Joe since I purchased it early 2023. He is a true professional and is always happy to answer any questions I have. His work timeline has been 100% accurate so far, plus he provides me with updates so I never need to worry about anything. Also has great recommendations and advice if needed. I stay in Vallejo but even if I were to stay further away, I'd say the trip to Roundel Autoworks is worth it. Highly recommended!”

“After finding my tire extremely low, I went to the closest tire shop. It was 4pm and they didn't close until 6pm. I was immediately told that they could not work on it until tomorrow. Heartbroken, I asked if the tech could come out and let me know if it was OK to drive across the bridge with this condition. He sent me to East Bay Tire Company. 4 miles away and closing in 50 minutes, I turned on my hazards and slowly made it to the other side of Benicia. My friend called and they said that they service big rigs, but since all I needed was a patch I figured they'd have no problem doing so. We finally arrive and I jog towards the office. Then one guy asked if I was the one with a flat tire and told me to drive my truck into the bay. They got to work on it immediately. We didn't have to wait long at all. They were totally on top of it, despite being so close to closing time. When I asked how much it was, Steven said $35. I immediately asked if I could tip them. I mean, the other place had their tire techs leave 2 hours before closing and sent me to this place. And I am glad they did because we received such awesome customer service and prompt work. Steven and his crew were super nice. And while I know they service semi trucks, I felt the need to show my appreciation via this review.”

I was promptly provided a quote via email and was able to read over the diagnostics/recommendations and approve the quote digitally. All the repairs were made promptly and I was provided in depth explanations to any questions. Greatly appreciated payment plan was made available. Complimentary car cleaning is an appreciated touch.”
