I went for a tire rotation and asked for inflating my tires. After I picked up my car, no reset on tire rotation and still low tire pressure. What did really happen?(continue after my original post) : as the owner suggested in his reply to send receipt number to his email. I did. After 4 days, no reply.

Erick did an amazing job helping me. He found the exact tire I needed and could have it delivered same day to their shop. I brought in my car and they were able to fix the flat tire and repair it. Really nice and responsive. The work was done as promised within 2 hours. (They were super busy but squeezed me in). Really can't say enough good things. Much easier process than trying to go through Costco in an emergency.

Joe, the manager is amazing. I needed an emergency tire fix so I can get to San Francisco to see my son in the ICU. He made it work for me after trying San Mateo. Store where I usually go for service, they were unable to help me. Joe is a very kind man. I will only go to this wheel works in the future even though the San Mateo one is right down the street from my work. Thank you human kindness.

I came in last weekend due to a huge nail lodged into my back tire. As this happened on a late Saturday afternoon, no one was able to fix it within the hour. I came back on Sunday morning and my car was done within a couple hours (I live close by so I was able to get a ride home). The front desk guys were very helpful and recommended I come back to get my alignment fixed. Friday night, I dropped my car off to get my alignment fixed and it was done by 9a on Saturday. I was happy with their customer service & I feel comfortable leaving my car with them overnight.

Five star review for Erick, manager and technician Brandon for Wheel Works on the El Camino in Belmont.I have complete confidence that they will get to the bottom of any issue. They are always so accommodating and eager to please and they’re open seven days a week. It’s amazing. Wouldn’t think of going anywhere else for my tires and wheel needs.Service: Tires

Today was my first time at this location & will be my last. Front person is dry, barely greets you & continue’s working on his paperwork. Makes you wait till he finishes his tasks & then checks you in. I went in for a tire patch. They did not bother to check my tire pressure in my other tires, threw my spare in the trunk. Did not reset the system light, but want to recommend other services you should return to get done. No Thanks!!!! Lack of customer service & attention to detail is unacceptable when spending money. I should of read the reviews before coming here.

This place has steadily been going downhill since John left a number of years ago. Latest saga. Went in for a 5 tire rotation, balance and alignment. They only did 4 of the tires, failed to balance anything and the vehicle pulls to the left. Went back two weeks later to have the tires balanced and it re-aligned. Pulling to the right now. The only reason I do anything here is the lifetime alignment I signed up for and it is pure torture and a waste of my time and Uber rides back and forth. Stay far away from this place at all cost. Consider yourself warned.

I have been to three different wheel works locations. The Daly City guys rock. They are polite, knowledgeable and very helpful. But when my tire began leaking I took my car closer to work, at the Belmont location. There was an issue with the tire pressure sensors reading the wrong tire, which I told them over the phone and in person, and that it was a specific tire. They ignored me, did nothing but replace a valve stem on the wrong tire, and sent me on my way with a bent rim uneven air pressure in my tires as well as the problem I brought it in for. I even questioned it when I saw my tire pressure reading on my dashboard was unchanged. They told me I just needed to drive it and sent me on my way. This was unprofessional, and very unsafe for me as well as my car. Thank heavens for the Daly City location they treat customers with the respect they deserve, pay attention to the car problems, and are upfront.

24 hour turn around and no update call on status of vehicle. May just be a busy company, but then hire someone to take care of those tasks in a customer centric manner. Some team members are super nice and others are curt and rude and leave you waiting for 20 min in lobby to write this review.

I'm only giving them 3 stars because they got the job done, but I highly recommend going elsewhere if you have any wheels other than steel. Here are some things to be aware of when taking your car to this Wheel Works location for tires. You can tell they work by the hour, everyone from the manager/lead to the service techs have no sense of urgency and there's limited communication between staff and customer. When it comes to replacing tires, I found the following...good and bad. Bad: I watched them use a pry bar on my vintage wheels, luckily, it appears no damage was done. They are very slow...even with an appointment. Good: They did torque the wheels to manufactures specs, they did double check tire pressures were correct and they didn't lose any specialized parts. The manager/lead was honest with a customer who wanted them to perform incorrect services...he informed her they couldn't do the job incorrectly/halfway. This wheel works location is fine for steel wheels and those not caring about efficiency or communication. Lastly, it shouldn't take 1.5 hours to remove, replace and balance four tires and more precautions should be taken with specialized wheels.

Have had two "sudden loss of tire pressure" incoming Deutsche messages from my dashboard lately, and one five inch screw hanging out of my tire and whacking the wheel (no message but plenty of racket). That's always the way, right? Nothing for decades then monthly tire emergencies. These folks are within a couple of miles of my house. All three times I drove straight to them and they fit me in within an hour or two. Fixed my tire problems very reasonably. The front desk guy is young, good-looking (not a requisite, but it helps) and funny, a pleasure to work with. And I'm always grateful for his "can do" attitude followed by a phone call to let me know the car is ready. I've recommended this location to others who have had the same great experience, and made me look good. Much appreciated, guys.

Rude folks there. We parked our car in their lots to get an appraisal and estimate for repair. One of the guys kept yelling at us repeatedly it is a private property and we shouldn't park there. As we approached him, and even after telling him why we were here, he kept shaking his head telling us we couldn't park here. So, we didn't stay and left...

"Great service every time" was my review before, but no longer: I came in with a new tire that had a nail in the tread and the rep tried to scare me into getting a replacement. Even brought a mechanic over to validate his judgement as a second opinion. I ended up going elsewhere and for the $75 repair and 2000 miles later... Such a shame I can't trust this place anymore. Recommendation retracted... ?
