I’m not sure if the owner of this gas station changed, but it now appears to be run by someone incompetent. Don’t bother stopping by here even for gas.

every time ive been in this gas station ive had an unpleasant interaction with an older woman there. I dont Remeber her name because I could care less but People like that shouldn't work where good customer service is expected.

They have been repairing my cars for well over 10 years. They are the best. Very honest, very kind, very customer satisfaction oriented. I just went there last week because my frunk would only partially open. My computer was in there and i couldn’t start my day without it.Part of my backpack was stuck in the latch. Sean understood and went to work on it right away and fixed it within 10 minutes. At no charge. When I had a Honda they took care of everything flawlessly and at a fair price for many years. Now I have a Tesla and I go to them instead of Tesla because they are much less expensive and can handle everything related to a Tesla’s tires, wheels, brakes, frunk, trunk, doors, lights, interior etc., better than and much faster than Tesla can. I give them a 10 on a 1 to 10 scale.

A bunch of crooks, giving mechanics a bad name. They use predatory business tactics to take advantage of people who don't know much about their cars. Unfortunate that they're still in business. Oh and on top of all of that their work is trash, they didn't tighten my moms wheel and it almost came off in the freeway FYI.

I have been getting my car serviced at this Shell auto care for years. The owners are super great people and really care to give their patrons the best care and value possible. They are honest and that is hard to find in the mechanic world. I recommend taking your car to get the best care possible to Belmont Shell auto care.

I brought my car here for an oil change and tire rotation. I later get a call saying I needed new rear brakes and rotors, which would be an additional $420.00. I knew that I had replaced them, but couldn't remember when. I told the guy I couldn't afford to do that right now. After I got off the phone I called the guy who replaced them and he said "you replaced them in Oct 2020. They should be good for 18,000-25,000 miles". I had gone 7000 miles since they were replaced. I went to pick up my car and pay for the oil change and tire rotation. I told the guy that they were replaced a year ago and he said "the guy must be wrong"? A few days later I went to the guy who replaced the rear brakes because he said bring your car by and I will check and see if they need replacing. I did, and guess what? They didn't need to be replaced. Belmont Shell Auto Care lied. Maybe because they think I'm d**** because I'm a female. Maybe they do this to other people who have money and don't care or don't know any better when they are being taken advantage of, but I don't believe in unethical work practices. So do me a favor and don't bring your vehicles here. Not even for gas. They should be put out of business. I grew up in Belmont. Businesses were always honest and fair, but maybe not anymore. I would give them zero stars, but this site won't let you. Don't do business here.

Brought my car in for a tune up before I head out on a road trip. I've been helped out by Ali and Shervin in the past and they've both great and super helpful!

This shell is right down the street from my apartment, which is kinda sad because i wish it could have been the shop i always go to. But alas, here it is.Brought my girlfriends 2014 Captiva in for a look, it seemed to have trouble between some gears and it was running hot. Spent about +$1400 to have "everything taken care of" hoses, fluids, whatever "all of it" drove it for a week battery died, brought it back in for the battery to be checked, ends up there was a broken or cracked engine bracket as well making. "The engine shakes when it would shift gears" ok fine pay it - Another +$500. Although when I came to check in on the battery after a day or two of waiting, he had the car up in the air on the lift... for the battery....? Ok... 500 for a battery and bracket - steep...The weekend came around, NOW the check engine light came on, cars now having trouble idling at red lights and dies out when goin from drive, park, and reverse. It drove better when it was just running a little hot..I can understand, sometimes stuff just happens, maybe he didn't check the battery the first time, maybe he didn't see the cracked bracket the first time, its not like we take our car off-roading or camping it just drives locally. i don't know anything about cars besides tire pressure oil change simple stuff, I could and should of just done the battery myself, but I am NOT bringing the car back a third time. After spending close to $2,000 in one month at this shell. 1 star

Best place I have found in all the Peninsula for professional car repair that will not break your bank. They are also some of the nicest people you will meet. I've been there 4 times now with car repairs for my son's 2004 Honda Accord. Don't listen to these people who think a tire repair should cost $5 and also expect them to do their work for free. They have overhead like any other business. They are fair with their pricing and not expensive. Also, on the forth time there, I didn't get charged for them to test the battery and put the car up on the rack to see if the bearings needed to be packed. They found abnormal wear on one tire and did not charge me. These people are as honest as it gets.

Just left there at 4:30 after waiting to get my tires rotated from 4:10- 4:25. I walked up and nobody said anything and a guy was on his phone just looking at me saying nothing. So I go in the mini store and the kid says "I'll get the mechanic" he goes to look and he is not here. He is running an errand. The kid says" he is on his way back" I simply said ok and we walk away from each other both of us waiting for the mechanic to arrive.after about 20 minutes he comes over and says " he is almost back but he said he won't finish" so what they are saying is that they can't move my back tires to the front and my front tires to the back in less then 30 minutes? That is straight b*********** It takes 10 min to this and actually very profitable for them. I've been told actually by a few people not to come here and that just proves them right. Don't go here. Not customer friendly at all.

Receipts for gas never seem to print here. Also I have seen a worker smoking cigarettes nearby while I am pumping gas which is unsafe, and illegal in Belmont. I can’t comment on their customer service.
