“A++ service!! Went above and beyond my expectations when I came in to order touch up paint for a color I had previously ordered years before. Apparently color formulas occasionally change so reordering the color by name isn't always going to guarantee a match. Knowing this the owner went out of his way to call around and find the formulas that I had purchased. Luckily for me he did, my match is FLAWLESS!!! They don't carry the same paint brand (from Gray's probably 12 yrs ago) so Jeff had to do a specialized color and I was delighted that it matched PERFECTLY! “In my experience, this (Palo Alto Page Mill Road) Kelly-Moore store is exceptional. Robert is outstanding with his help, knowledge, patience, and time. He listens, anticipates issues, helps avoid unintended consequences, patiently explains paint and alternatives and options, and goes out of his way to resolve the situation and/or project. I am not a knowledgeable painter/contractor; I am a consumer with a lot of questions and for whom paint projects are a challenge. Gerardo and Paul, working with Robert at this store, have also always been helpful, courteous and efficient. “So the range of opinion here is valid in terms of customer service and selection. It isn't really a typical hardware store. An odd mix of contractor oriented wholesaler and an old school neighborhood hardware store in terms of parts and "hardware".The reason for my high(er) score, is that if I am looking for plumbing/faucet parts, or nuts/bolts/screws, I am more likely to find it here than one of the Ace Hardware stores, or even Home Depot or Lowe's, which really surprises me.”

“I went to this store yesterday 9/14 and it was quite busy. I don't know much about paint and what colors I wanted specifically however, the manager Gerardo was more than helpful even in the chaos. He answered all questions I had and even gave me samples to take home so I could figure out what I wanted. I don't usually come across stores that respect their customers let alone give them their full attention. It was very easy to navigate through the store since it was kept organized. I will be coming back and definitely recommend this store to anyone.”
