“Staff is helpful. Store is clean, shelves are full. Have never seen any expired food that has been overlooked. Seems to me nothing is overlooked. I continue to shop at this location because there are not self checkout lanes. I notice a lack of customer connection, complacency and lower standards in stores with self checkout. Also I do not like that there are less employees at those locations meaning less income tax is getting paid. With fewer customer facing employees there is less connection, ambiance and less accountability for store standards. This locations deli has delicious sandwiches to order. My favorite is the tuna sandwich. The tortilla chips in the deli section also amazing don't forget the fresh pico de gallo to go with that it's over by the vegetables. The produce and baked goods, fresh and appealing. Watch out for the donuts! They'll getcha! Overall a smaller and superior location. Safeway should consider opening more neighborhood locations. Keep the huge ones with the self check outs and the Starbucks inside. Sure some people love them. But this type of store is special.”
