I needed a power supply for an old transmitter that I use for my simultaneous interpreting business. The original manufacturer no longer supplies it. The Jameco chat tech helped me find exactly what I needed, and I received it two days. It tested perfectly. Thank you.

Everything looked good right up to the submit order. The shipping cost was minimal and the tax expected, but after I submitted the order, I found that a processing fee was added and it was almost the same as the cost of the parts. Would have been nice if there was some indication of that say during the shipping information or at the beginning of the order placement. Will be leery of that next time.

I needed a classroom set of soldering stations as well as materials to complete an electronics activity. The very helpful folks at Jameco assisted me in selecting the items I needed, and gave me guidance for preparing to do the activity with my class. I feel a lot more confident and appreciate their support. 10/10! Would recommend!!!

I cannot express how impressed I am with this electronics store. The sleek and modern layout immediately caught my attention, and the wide range of high-quality products left me spoiled for choice. The staff members were incredibly patient and took the time to answer all my questions. From the moment I walked in until the moment I left, I felt like a valued customer. New-ish minimums for will call ($50!! will call and $20 online) has relegated this once reliable maker supply store to the BOTTOM of my options. Way to alienate local customer base. Check out San Mateo Electronics for alternate option.

I love Jameco it has been a gem for hobbyists. Unfortunately, they require a $50 minimum to pick up items. I would totally understand $20 but $50?!?!

Great assortment of products and quick service whether shipping or picking up. It's wonderful to have a distributor right in our area for those last minute critical items! I often use their will-call option.

Work down the street from them. Found out about them used to go in all the time. But now with their minimum order when only need $20 or less of stuff insufficient to meet their minimum order. This really sucks. So might as well order for next day from amazon.

oh em gee - Jameco - Where Do I start?? I love this place to pieces, it's one of the best gems in the bay area. I havent been recently though, so keep that in mind for this review. Everything about this place reminds me of what small businesses used to be like in the 1980s and early 90s around here, very humble and customer service oriented. They have an amazing print catalog that they will mail to you, and more than fair prices on all sorts of electronic components. Where the "big guys" like Digikey take a week or two to ship, and are constantly out of stock, you can drive down to Jameco and get your parts the same day! They have lots of wonderful kits for capacitors, audio plugs, mcus, and all sorts of gadgets and gizmos. Conveniently located right by the freeway, I've spent many happy hours here going through their new arrivals in the lobby, and combing their catalog for exciting new toys. Simply a must have in the bay, I hope they're around forever :)
