I love these guys! They have done a phenomenal job in transforming all four of my scraped rims. I have a Tesla Y and was mortified when I curbed my first rim . I held off on getting it done initially because I knew with my driving it was going to happen again... Unfortunately I ended up stacking all four rims and got them done together. The result was impeccable; I honestly can't even tell where it was scraped because it looks so flawless! I had heard from a few friends how great their work was but never expected it to be as good as it was. I actually called numerous shops all across the board from SJ to Oakland for price quotes but I'm glad I listened to my friends and chose Cal Wheels. GREAT price & flawless result.

Cory and his team are magicians. Professional work and quick turnaround at fair prices. Couldn’t be happier with the result. Rims look brand new like it never happened. Do not take your rim repair anywhere else.

Being as careful as I could be, I got distracted while pulling out from a parking spot and curbed almost half of my rim. I contacted Cory, he responded almost immediately, gave me a quote and scheduled an appointment. The experience was very straight forward and no non-sense.Cory and his team did an exceptional job on repairing my rim to its original look.

I've been twice. No non-sense, quick fix for curbed wheels. Personally, I think the prices are extremely reasonable. Takes about an hour and a half for one wheel from start to finish.

It's like they used an AI "magic eraser" on a photograph but did it in real life. Unbelievable.

Super nice crew and very efficient. Cory was timely and very helpful in restoring my wheel to it's past glorious stage. The quality of work performed was nothing less than outstanding. It's comforting to know that this shop first priority is to do the job correctly.

With so many 5-star reviews, I must say I feel a bit letdown by Yelp on this one. On the plus side, Cory got me in right away to repair some minor curb rash on one my gloss black BMW M3 wheels. The repair was done quickly. On the downside, the repair could have been done better. There were some rough spots on the edge of the lip that simply weren't fully ground/sanded.I pointed it out to Cory before leaving and he responded by saying that even factory rims aren't perfect. Maybe so, but this area could have been smoothed out fully in seconds. Whoever did the work should have easily noticed it. My assumption is that they did notice it and simply thought it was "good enough". I drove off accepting the less than perfect result. However, when I got home, I later noticed that a section of the wheel adjacent to the area they repaired now had a matte versus glossy look to it. I swung by their shop and the person who did the repair looked at it and immediately knew what happened. He said they needed to respray it with something, so I scheduled a time to bring it back in.I dropped the car off and since they were respraying it anyway, they smoothed out the part that wasn't fully sanded. I watched them do this part and they were able to smooth it out in literally seconds. When I picked the car up this time, I noticed that there were some imperfections in the paint they applied. Looked like dirt particles or something had landed on the wet paint. I asked Cory about it and he told me that sometimes when they put the wheel back on and tighten the lug nuts, particles can fly around and land on the paint. I wondered why they wouldn't then wait until the paint was more dry before doing so, but maybe that isn't practical given the timing. I don't know.In any case, I drove off once again. About a week later, I washed the car, including a thorough cleaning of all the wheels. Upon cleaning the wheel they repaired, I noticed that I wasn't able to get the inner barrel of the wheel clean like the others, as it still looked dirty after using wheel cleaner and a brush. So I got a dish sponge with a scrubbing pad and tried to clean a small area with that, and again, the wheel still looked dirty. So I called a friend of mine who owns a body shop and sent him the photo, and his belief is that the wheel was still dirty when Cal Wheel Tech sprayed it with the paint or whatever the top coat was that they used. So they essentially painted the dirt into the topcoat, and you can see in the photos what the repaired wheel looks like compared to my other wheels. At this point, I'm just going to have my friend send the wheel out to get a powder coated finish, which will be a lot more durable. And while it will be more expensive than the repair at Cal Wheel Tech, it should still run a little under $200, which is reasonable. If you want a quick and inexpensive repair that will satisfy most owners, I'm sure Cal Wheel Tech is a good option. However, if you are picky like me, I suggest you go another route.

The paint job on my Maserati rims, which I paid $400 without receipt, peeled off after a year. The car was seldom used being a weekend car. Cory refused to return the calls for my request for rework. Very disappointing as I could have opted for powder-coating for same amount of money. What a lousy shop! I do NOT recommend!! Go some place else as you will just regret later and lose money.
