We purchased Amtico Flooring from Michael 20 plus years ago. The floor is still in excellent shape so we went back to see Michael to get his advice. He guided us to a flooring called MEDIEVAL which was an excellent choice and it looks beautiful throughout our new ADU. Amazing customer service and quality. Michael knows what he's talking about - he's been doing this a long time - and he takes the time to talk to his customers so they're making an informed decision. I'm so glad my husband found his store. We've been looking at flooring for more than a year and have gone to all the big name places, but ultimately went with Michael. No gimmicks or up-sales. He's straightforward and thorough.

Michael and his crew did a wonderful job with our second-floor upgrade as well as a challenging stair installation. Michael always makes sure enough time and details are provided to give his clients honest explanations of the pros and cons of different installation options.The floor materials we choose had some design elements that I found undesirable. He went extra miles to contact the owner of the product provider (Gaia Floors) to get some special tapes for the transition from the second floor to the first step of the stairs and proposed a custom solution to my concerns. It took him many phone calls to get the special tape shipped, but it made a huge difference in the final result --- the second-floor transitions into stairs seamlessly without the distraction of any extra transition strips, and the edge of the second floor is uniform along with the rest of the stair noses. Everyone who saw the final product was impressed.Our house is over 30 years old and had some wrapped subfloors due to water damage from previous ownership. Michael and his team did a great job correcting the issue in a professional matter without costing us an arm and leg.I would recommend anyone to Michael. He is honest, professional, respectful, and detail oriented. Our family could not be happier with our new floor and stairs. Thank you Michael!! `

I highly recommend Beau Monde for carpet installation. After initially getting an estimate from a big box store, I decided I wanted to go with a smaller establishment. Beau Monde was recommended by my neighbor. They replaced my worn carpet and padding with a beautiful wool carpet and felt padding. Michael was great to work work, and the installation team were professional and detail oriented. I’m very happy with the final results and especially happy, knowing my new carpet will last for years.

Thank you Michael and Beau Monde Team!! I'm so happy to have new, 100% wool carpet installed. My old carpet was long overdue to be replaced after many years of wear and tear and one sweet, little, old dog. Michael was wonderful to work with, and was able to offer some beautiful options based off photos I shared with him and my budget. The new carpet and felt padding are a wonderful upgrade in quality and style. The installers were impressive, working in a small space and with some tricky doorways (lots of little angles). They tore out the old carpet and padding and installed the new in my living room, bedroom, two closets and entryway and were super efficient and tidy. They hauled away all of the old carpet and padding. So happy I went with Beau Monde for this installation. Thank you!!

He even met me at his store on a Sunday (his day off) so that I can bring a plank in to figure out the color. We worked with Michael who came to our house for measurements. He was courteous, answered all our questions, and gave us helpful advice as to the type of wool carpet and padding that would work best for us. The crew that installed the carpet did a high quality job and helped us move furniture out then back in each room. All in all we had a great experience and we love the new carpet.

Would give zero stars if possible. As we were walking up the looks I received were unwelcoming. I didn't want to assume so I entered where I wasn't acknowledged and received no greeting. A simple hello or "welcome in" would have sufficed. We received neither. We took a quick scan and still received no help. We decided we clearly weren't welcome and left. Even as we left we received nothing. We are residents of Belmont and never received this kind of treatment. Being a small business customer service is everything. Everyone who walks in should be treated equal. This is heartbreaking and I hope noone else experiences this.

Michael, and his fantastic team- Fernando, Francisco, Jonathan, Jose, and Eduardo, installed new GAIA flooring (SPC) wood look, but water resistant/proof. It was a very tight timeline, but they were professionals, and made it happen. The installing team worked hard and long hours to get it done. We appreciate their efforts on getting the gorgeous flooring in and the house ready in time.

My husband and I bought both our SPC floors and our wool carpet from Michael at Beau Monde floors for our whole house remodel in Belmont.As first timer remodelers, we had many questions (material, installation, etc.), and Michael was very helpful and patient in answering all of it! Carpet installers were timely and very accomodating in making sure to protect our new floors while cutting indoors.Prices were also very competitve, including for 100% wool carpeting vs nylon at HD! Plus, it's great to support a local business and a Belmont local with kids who went through Carlmont and everything!We're very glad to have gone with a Beau Monde floors and would highly recommend Michael!

The Gaia Eyre floors that Beau Monde installed in our kitchen and familyroom look STUNNING. The level of definition and quality in the texture is very realistic. The best part was that the floor and installation were surprisingly lower than other popular flooring businesses that I researched.Fernando, Francisco, Oscar, and Jonathan did a wonderful job with the installation. They were hard-working, professional, cheerful, and cleaned up well. Michael of Beau Monde really is a champion with a champion team.Keep up the 5-star service, Beau Monde!(By the way, those yellow walls will be re-painted to a neutral color. :D)

I tried so many ways to have this place give me an estimate on replacing our hardwood floors. They came up with every excuse possible to NOT give us an estimate for a new floor. We have hardwood floors that were damaged by a flood and needed replacing. They said they don't do real hardwood floors anymore only I guess engineered hardwood floors which are 100% waterproof! Sounds perfect since our floor was damaged by water, but no. He still has no interest in the job. He wouldn't schedule an estimator to come look at the job. He wanted me to bring in or send in the measurements??? From our two other estimates this is a $50k plus job. Must be nice to have a company and be able to turn down good money making jobs. Blows my mind. If this guy is not the owner then I'm sure the owner would fire this guy. If he is the owner then again it must be nice to be able to turn down good money jobs. I know I will never call this place again.
