“I brought my dog in (65-70lb runty boxer mutt) for a nail trim last weekend. Waiting area is fairly small but service was fast and friendly. These groomers seem to have a good handle on the dogs and their business. There were multiple other dogs in for other services, so the place was as noisy as you'd expect but if you're reading this then you probably wouldn't mind that much. Paid approx. $25 after service with no wait time and no appointment necessary, YMMV. There's a walking trail next door and a donut shop across Lambert if you get bored or can't stand the waiting room.”
“The Paw Shoppe Pet Center is amazing!! I take my dog, Charlie there every few weeks to get his nails trimmed, and Sam is amazing with him! She does his nails every time and she helps to calm his nerves. All of their groomers are amazing.”
“I have been coming here for over a decade. They consistently do good work. I trust the owners and groomers here. I would hate to go elsewhere. They do not hire extra workers but do the work themselves which I appreciate. There is no substitute for experience.”

“I work next door to Top Dog. They are getting ready to expand to the suite next to the current location and the construction was a bit noisy. I went over to ask if there was anything we can do about the noise and they immediately prioritized the request. It’s not to often that you find businesses that cater to their neighbors like that! “This was my first visit to LaunderPet. We recently moved to the area, and after reading the positive reviews decided to give them a try. Front desk supervisor is great; she’s super patient and organized. The groomer did a fantastic job on our long, hair spaniel/chihuahua mix. She’s a senior dog, and usually very nervous. No sign of anxiety and pranced out of the shop looking adorable and full of energy. Full service was very reasonable.”
“I like the cat food here but have had bad experiences with the stick toys. They break quickly, and I mean within 1-3 days. People at the store are usually pretty nice with helping you find things. One time though I thought I had a coupon for something, so all I said was, "Oh I think I have a coupon." and the employee very rudely said, "You need to print it out." I wasn't pushy about the coupon or anything, it was just their immediate reaction to what I said. I just said, "Oh, um, okay." And bought my cat food and left, feeling confused and upset. That experience still sticks with me even though it was a few years ago because I have no idea why that employee had to be so rude to me about it. I get some people are rude about coupons, but I literally did nothing but say I thought I had one. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth, the unwarranted antagonism. Especially as someone that deals with social anxiety and depression, it just made me feel like something is wrong with me for awhile. I get food delivered sometimes and it always goes well and it within the time frame.”

If you want quality service come to this shop. Perfect for scapers tonnns of selections of substrate and foreground pieces. If you’re in Downey give them your money because it’s worth it.”
“My veterinarian recommended this gem of a place to me and told me to speak with Wendy. I have had concerns for many years about large pet food corporations and was relived to learn that this place makes their own food in house and it is locally and ethically sourced as much as possible.
The service was beyond impressive and we worked to find the best solution possible for my four small dogs, all with varying health issues. I can’t wait for my dogs to try this food as we will definitely be regulars here. We even got free samples to make sure my dogs like it. Where else do you get that these days? Mind blown :)
The price was very affordable also. Cannot recommend highly enough!”

“I rescued a dog that gets nervous, and sometimes spits up (I know..gross). Pretco refused to groom him.
I found Dirty Paws and checked out their self wash, which worked great. The dog climbs a ramp to get in and it's easy on the back and affordable. They also have groomers that I use when I'm shy on time. My dog looks great. I explained in advance about the dogs condition and they are cool with it.

“My cats didn't take to the pine litter it was too harsh on their feet. Tried Tidy cat breeze,,smaller pellet but smell like bad of pee. Found another small pellet made of walnut shells, that clumps. The cats liked it, no smell and little to no tracking. I do add a little of the tradional clay clumping litter to help it get the pee completely but it sinks past the pellets to the bottom and the cats don't track it.”

The amazing staff went above and beyond to remake the cake for her a few weeks later when she was feeling better and able to celebrate. This is our second year getting a cake from The Dog Bakery and we will most definitely be repeat customers.”
“Take our pup here for doggy day care. Everyone knows him by name as he is quite the social butterfly. Staff are great. Manager assisted us months ago when the food we get for him was out, for months. She would let us know when the food was in stock at other locations. Store is clean and grooming services are good.
