Update: my hair is literally sliding out of my head. I probably have one more week left before it's completely off. Absolute waste of $640 with no refund. I saw a tik tok (@blackgirlssmellgood) recommending this salon and specifically Fadelia so I decided to give it a try. The install itself is great and I have no complaints, but the experience was not the best. I went in for a consultation which I usually never do but I was really glad to go. I wanted to buy some hair for a sew in. I told her I wanted a more yaki/relaxed texture to match my natural leave out. She showed me a few different bundles and I picked a straight and textured bundle, exactly what I was looking for and was happy. She said it was $116 a bundle which I feel like is a little high for a 14 inch.... I also peeped that I said I wanted a 16 inch too and the price was the same, meaning she just made up her prices as she went. I go in for my appointment and the first red flag was she went and got the hair to start installing and the bundles were still in the bag. Gross. Always wash the hair before an install. There's been stories of lice and dirt from vendors and it's basic hygiene to make sure that nasty factory dirt isn't getting into anyones head. And I know it was from a random factory because the hair is cheap but more on that later. Second red flag was she was installing curly hair. Who's hair is this??? I picked straight bundles, and there is no way I could have made that mistake because I never wear curly. They were a silky curly texture, not ugly but not what I asked for. I knew I had to go home and wash the hair myself so I didn't say anything because I can flat iron it no problem. So I go home and flat iron it the same day, and realize how cheap this hair is. The ends were so thin I had to trim them. The hair is giving beauty supply or aliexpress. This wouldn't be bad if it's what I asked for. When it was time to pay she told me the install was $300 which is $25-50 more than what she originally told me during the consultation. She made up prices and swapped the good hair she had on display for cheap ones. Knowing this hair is cheap it will not last long, so almost $400 for bundles that will probably only hold me a month is CRAZY! I didn't want to be so negative about a black owned business, but once I told my friend about my experience she told me I should complain and try to get a refund. I have a feeling Fadelia won't offer me this so I didn't bother asking, even though I feel like I deserve one. If anyone decides to go to this salon BRING YOUR OWN HAIR and take extra time out of your schedule because the stylists do bounce around from client to client. (Picture notes: see how the price before with 2 bundles of 14 inches and one 16 inch was $342 and the final price with 3 14 inches was higher at $348. How did that math work? So disappointing. Anyone who knows hair knows the longer the bundle the more expensive. I want a partial refund!)

This is the BEST salon I've ever been to! The service is OUTSTANDING and the stylists are so professional and friendly, I feel awesome everytime I come and when I leave! I love Ms. Sharon and Ms. Charnyce!!! Beautiful women who know how to do some hair!!! If you want your hair done right come to Mitchell Salon!!! Not only will you get your hair done right but you will also learn about hair care. They use the best products and always explain their process so you know why they are doing what their doing!!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE MITCHELL

Do not get me wrong, this place is great if you're looking to get your hair colored or a nice wash and style or maybe even a relaxer. the ladies were super nice and welcoming. the only reason i'm giving it two stars is because i had to wait almost an hour to actually get my hair done even though i had an appointment. their appointments overlap. and i paid $175 dollars for a closure sew-in install and my closure is sliding back after a couple days and showing my braids. if you are going to charge those high prices then you should be an expert at what you do. i'm disappointed in my weave install. but not a bad place for natural hair things!!

Mitchell's Beauty Salon is the best salon ever. The atmosphere is very calming, inviting, with exceptional services, modern equipment and quality products. The Hairstylist's and staff are very professional, friendly, knowledgeable about hair types/ care products and very creative. They have elegant mirrors, great cabinetry and a great feminine, sweet aromatic restroom. I feel very relaxed and am given excellent personal care while I am there. I have never had to wait or had to play musical chairs due to overbooking. The Hairstylist ‘s and staff are magicians. The price for this quality salon service is very affordable. I trust them with my hair care needs. I am truly amazed at how I look every time I leave. The hair compliments I receive don't stop. I highly recommend this salon service if you want quality hair care and to “turn heads “like me.
