I hate to write bad reviews but tonight what happened here made me write this. I have been here before and never had issues. There had been times where the couple behind the counter never said hello while saying hello to customers I assume they liked.Tonight I came in with a winning lottery ticket. The man behind the counter didn't scan it or touch it. He said "no money". I said maybe I want to buy more tickets. He said no and that I didn't buy it from his store and he knows what tickets are for him. He also said the ticket I got was either 50 or 100. All he had to do was ask if I wanted more tickets. I planned to get a $20 ticket and a $5 ticket. Again he brought up about money and I asked how did he know what I wanted. His eyes got really big and by now we are both shouting at each other. I maybe lost my cool but I told him he had a bad attitude and I think he called me fat. It was so hard to understand us both at this point. I was going to leave and started to but he continued shouting at me and I started up again. I brought up I never had problems except I didn't think he and his wife didn't like me. I also pointed out I just came in the day before and bought a ticket but he said not that one. The store I originally bought this ticket was in the opposite direction so this one was closer to me. I told him I should call the lottery and he said he would give me the number which he didn't. I wasn't really going to call and don't intend to.I don't like to write this review but anybody trying to claim a winning lottery ticket should stay away. He should also put up a sign saying what his policy is in regards to lottery tickets. I do apologize for my part but I was simply being a customer and the way I was treated tonight was so unprofessional and uncalled for. To bring out such anger in a customer where it seems like we are going to fight each other over something so stupid is ridiculous.

The man behind the counter made me anxious by constantly looking at me. he was not welcoming at all and made me feel like a criminal even though I didn't do anything. do not recommend!

Wish I could give it 0 stars! I came to cash out some scratchers, $24. As I quietly stood at the counter while the guy scanned my tickets he tells me the amount. I let him know that's correct and I'll take the cash. And he immediately gets upset. He starts telling me how is he suppose to give me cash if everyone is paying with their cards and why didn't I tell him. I tell him he never asked me but that I would like my cash please. He has a nasty attitude and is making me upset because he keeps being rude and even said that one of the scratchers I took wasn't his. I told him that it didn't matter since he's a CA lottery vendor. He agrees that it shouldn't matter yet he's still upset. I tell him why the hell does it matter if I want cash, it's freaking $24 it's not a crazy amount. He opens his cash drawer and gives me my cash. As I grab it I thank him and as I walk out he screams something in his language. This is by far the worst interaction I've ever had with anyone or a lottery vendor. I will definitely be avoiding this place.
