Found this place a few weeks ago. Was looking for someone who would replace a catalytic converter on my Chevy Tahoe 2003, and do the smog check right after. Enrique picked up the phone and greeted me right away with his upbeat and friendly manner of speaking. He answered my questions after asking for details of my situation. Then I drove to the shop a few minutes later to meet him. Enrique looked happy to have a customer and hurried to plug in his testing tools to my car. He immediately told me what needs to be fixed and showed me the tool readings on the spot. Such a clear and open business ethics impressed me and I shook hands with Enrique on fixing my car with no second thoughts. He told me he could fix it the same day if I come on Monday, because I had Monday available and had a chance to drop the car off for a day. That was a perfect timing and I'm greatly appreciative to God and Enrique for arranging everything for my convenience. Monday came and I showed up at the shop first thing in the morning. I saw many other customers coming in, but Enrique made sure that I had an experience as close to exclusive as can be. So after a quick conversation, I left him my car and took away. After lunch he called me saying that I could pick up my car. Excellent service. Enrique lifted up my car to demonstrate the new catalytic converter that he installed. So much opennes of business! Nothing shady, no trying to offer unrequested parts or services. Then my wife asked if they could do her car's smog check too. Mr. Kim assured they could, so we took my car and they worked on my wife's car the same moment. She passed the smog check that day too. Kim's auto shop might become our family to-go place. In a week I came back to ask him to replace spark plugs with the wirering harness, and to test for smog. Again, same day service! My car passed the test; Enrique also plugged the tools and showed me the readings, so that I could see it all with my own eyes. Such a nice man, great business and outstanding results. I do recommend!

This place is a fraud 70 for just the light inspection and he doesn’t have the “brake Inspection” certificate to do it I just went to another shop and ask if they can do my brakes and he said this shop is a scam they always do this and rip people off now I have to pay again and re do everything and pay again

I've been going to Kim's auto repair over 5 years now and Mr. Kim and Enrique and very professional and honest. I have a 2001 Honda Accord that has been driving well thanks to them. I highly recommend this mechanic because they take care of you and have good prices. -Sarian

Don’ go to this place is a Fraud, lier, unprofessional, bad service, scam, the owner takes advantage of your money, when you ask for breaks and lamps make sure you ask the owner to show all the certificates because he says that he has all certificates and when he finish doing the lamps and smog he comes out that he doesn’t have the breaks, so make sure to ask him cause them you are going to end up without the breaks certificate and them other shops want to charge a lot just for one thing.
