Very unprofessional staff. We had an appointment for grooming at 7am today 4/15/24. We where there 5 min before 7am. The staff member Dolores arrived 5 min late and was very rude and said that she she couldn't do the job because my dog had knots. I told her that I was told yesterday when I scheduled the appointment that they were going to charge me extra if my dog had knots ( which I was fine with). When Dolores arrived she already seemed upset ( maybe because she had to wake up early). I grabbed the business cards and then she asked if I wanted to speak to her manager ( which I never requested) I asked if she taught I should then yes. The manager was also unprofessional did not introduce himself, I had to ask for his name the name he gave me was Williams... I don't know what Dolores told him before he came out because he had an attitude and was upset before even talking to me. I explained again that yesterday when I scheduled the appointment, I was going to get charged extra because she had knots. I would had wish I was told yesterday they couldn't do the job. I am going to go through corporate because they were very rude and unprofessional. I can only imagine how they treat pets there. Don't come here for grooming. I was recommended peluches which that's were I am goi g to take my doggie (support small businesses).

I scheduled a 3 pm grooming appointment for my dog, and my dog was turned away because according to the staff member, she requires more than 3 hours for bathing and grooming, so what's the whole purpose of having an appointment if these "expertise" won't abide by it. I questioned the person who was attending me about the purpose of an appointment if there was a possibility of my dog not being seen, and her excuse was that when scheduling an appointment you don't have the option to go into detail about the current appearance or what your dog requires. So you would think because the appointment program is faulty the staff members will do their diligence and call before your appointment and ask about your dog's current appearance or ask further questions about the breed of your dog, but that did not happen. It was such a waste of time! I'm not taking my dog to Petco groomers ever.

Do not go here for your pets vaccines needs!!!!!I sent my husband to get our two dogs their vaccines. He showed them the text of the shots needed and they went over him and “strongly suggested” a completely different vaccine package. Half the shots needed were not given! Even when they saw the previous overdue shots. Spoke to one of the vet assistant and they couldn’t do anything nor cared that they disregarded my husbands wishes for a specific vaccine. Why give a bordetella vaccine when we don’t board ? And not even ask if we do. Very poor work ethnic obviously never worked in the veterinary field before.

The manager/employees pass out misinformation about the animals onto possible owners, and it needs to get fixed. I brought it to someone’s attention about it, but I don’t think they cared. The manager, some girl with a hunched back with short hair above the shoulders told me they were able to be in the same cage for a few more months even though I saw one of the hamsters shoving the other one around, also that same night they started fighting even though their scent didn’t change. whoever runs the store really needs to make sure the employees are knowledgeable about all the animals, even if it’s just something as small as a roach.

Great staff and loved how they give you the option of adoption (if available) the animal to give good homes to animals in need not just for sale.I wasn't aware petco did this, super happy they have this program, everyone should look into adopting before purchasing.Makes me glad that I'm not only a customer but a share holder of the company, everyone should visit their local petco and ask about adoption options.100% satisfied and glad we were able to give this little gorgeous girl a good home while becoming an emotional support family member for my autistic son. ? ❤️
