Commissary is good. Sandwich counter is bad. I’m rating the service/management, not the quality of the food because they didn’t make me any. Deli hours say they close at 7 PM, but they turned me away because they were “closed” at 6:40. I understand good help is hard to find, but management could ensure they keep the hours they advertise since there are 2 places to eat open after 6 on base. Do your job.

The produce is the worst ever in most commissaries and prices are the highest. Not really saving any moneywhen you have to pay 5% surcharge and feel obligated to tip baggers.

What happened to the hamburger??? I’ve been out of the country for a few months and came back to worse hamburger than other countries. I used to love their burger and would make the extra trip to get it. Now it is fatty, big big chunks of fat, and chunks of bone and the meat is chewy. I got some with several pieces of that silver sinuet stuff. My husband bought 10 lbs, and it is not edible. I won’t even feed it to my dogs. Not worth the trip out there if the meat isn’t edible. Beale… do better.

I enjoy shopping here but I’m very disappointed every single time I buy fruit a bunch of it has mold on it or molds the next day. Meat is almost iffy unless you eat same day. I recommend looking at dates closely. Love my deli sandwiches I get and frozen breakfast stuff but I wish they were better at taking old foods off the shelves caring a little more. Over all I enjoy shopping here and the staff is extremely friendly and super helpful.

Great place to grocery shop or grab some quick lunch. I'm surprised this commissary is well stocked compared to being overseas where turn-over to wait on certain products can be at least a month out if service personnel/retirees doesn't snatch them up. CASHIERS is a blessing! Thank you commissary for not providing self check outs. Pros:-Friendly staff compared to off base grocery. -Clean. No graffiti in the latrines. -Not too crowded. -Tax free. -Well stocked grocery shelves and freezer aisle. Cons:-Produce is more expensive. So I suggest shopping at your local grocery market (Grocery Outlet, Winco, WalMart, Food Maxx, Costco, Sams Club to name a few). -Expiration dates for certain items could be close to expiring. So keep an eye on those bread, milk, meat, etc.

There’s always a ton of expired or near-expired items. Found a roast once that had been expired for a whole week. I would not recommend coming here for veggies, fruits or meats unless you plan on using them ASAP (if you’re planning a meal, buy the items same-day). Had strawberries that molded a day after I bought them. I like the sushi and deli, also if you need snacks they’ve got plenty of options. I do wish they had healthier alternatives considering this is the military. I shop here a lot because I don’t feel like driving to Lincoln most of the time. It’s a very “ok” option.

Standard commissary - you're going to find great deals on name brand box and household items that you cannot get for the same price elsewhere, but unfortunately they are unable to compete when it comes to produce, as is usually the case with commissaries. Rotten produce will be out on display and will be priced slightly higher than that from a store off base. $4.99 for a 16 oz pack of strawberries at the commissary, vs. $2 for the same size at Grocery Outlet (one example). At this location specifically, they have been running low of certain items recently (2021-2022), and the shelves remain empty for weeks at a time. However, you can go to Safeway or Whole Foods and buy the exact item you need. If it's a "supply chain issue," then it's specific to this commissary - not the global supply chain.

Usually has what we need. Always clean and way less busy than off base stores.
