“We didn't stay at the lodge but we are Harvest Hosts guests at the golf course. Great 9 hole course, fantastic views of the Laguna, super nice and friendly staff.”

“The inside of the boat was lovely, servers were friendly and the clam chowder, sandwiches, salad and bloody Mary's were great; however, it was a rainy day and when we boarded, they notified us the boat would not be leaving the dock and we'd receive $20/pp refund. There was no explanation of why we weren't leaving the dock and we weren't given a heads up in advance. It would have been nice to have been given notice and a choice to still attend or reschedule.”

“We are so happy to have stumbled upon this gem in the SLO area for our wedding venue. We had around 150 guests at our wedding and I would say the venue accommodated the group just fine. The family who owns the property was very friendly. We had no issues with booking and our wedding planner took care of all the details/coordination. I believe their wedding package comes with white plastic chairs/round tables, wine barrel tabletops and white umbrellas. There are two bathrooms onsite and ample parking space as well. Wifi can be spotty so I recommend guests drive vs. uber/lyft. Pricing was very reasonable compared to the other venues we were looking at.The greenery is unreal and there are loads of different areas for your wedding photos which I liked (i.e., lower lawn, garden/stairway, orchard, pergola, etc). I would describe the venue as having two different areas. The upper half is where we had the welcome area and cocktail hour, there's also a storefront that is open to the public and the lower half is where we had our ceremony and reception. We did have to flip the layout (changing from ceremony to reception in between) so it was nice to have a separate area for our guests to go to for cocktail hour. We did not experience any issues with the storefront/campsite customers. Everyone was respectful. The dance floor was large enough for our wedding size and I liked that there are benches surrounding the deck which gave our guests the option to sit or rest and still be close to the festivities. The only thing (which wasn't a deal breaker for us but could be for others) is the venue has an early stoppage time and requires music to stop by 8pm. We ended up having our wedding from 2pm-8pm and added an after party in downtown SLO.Overall, I loved the venue and we have such fond and amazing memories of our wedding day.”

“Papagallo recently hosted a wedding party which included food and drinks! The cruise around Morro Rock and the bay was beautiful. The owners, Tracy and Nicole were spectacular hosts. The food, service and views were top notch! Highly recommend.”

“We loved it! Food was excellent and much to choose from, drinks fantastic. I loved how chill and friendly the staff and patrons were. I laughed at the reviews saying it's "outdated", the nostalgic cozy vibe was out favorite part! Please don't change a thing.”

“Compared to most botanical gardens I have visited, this one is rather sparse. However, it is cute, quaint, and dog-friendly! It also features a separate children's garden with areas for them to play and do activities. It's definitely worth a look, especially if you have kids and/or dogs!”

“Completely different from Midwestern botanical gardens that I'm used to, but that's the point. The young woman at the registration desk was incredibly informative and seemed to love her job. We spent less than an hour here (we were not appropriately attired to take the longer trail), but it was a great introduction to the local climate and native plants.”

“The course is oin reasonablygood shape after recovering from the Winter floods. There were a couple places where the cart path had to detour around washed out bridges. Several of the bunkers were yet to be restored. I'd recommend treating them as ground under repair.”
