EXCITING AND RELAXING is how I would describe this beautiful place. I feel very refreshed and calm after staying here. They have added an exquisite high end building to the already wonderful rooms they have. The landscaping is adorable and I have to say whoever did the planning and layout are excellent because ergonomically, it just works and flows. The sliding doors, automatic nightlights and power saving room keys (turn off when you leave and arrive) are so cool. Free breakfast, snacks, DVDs and wine??!! Nice! The mattresses are incredibly comfortable and everything seems to be brand new, the kitchens are better than my own ? ; the t.v.s are set up with all the apps, Netflix Amazon prime and everything we needed was within walking distance. There is a convenience/liquor store across the street so that helps. The view is absolutely stunning and breathtaking. I am not positive, but I believe at least part of the hotel allows pets. I also noticed a farmers market on our drive out the day we left (Monday).Rooms: HUGE rooms!!! For some reason, the style and layout suits me so well. The bathrooms, kitchenette, extra comfortable beds, high tech t.v. and lighting really are special IMO.Nearby activities: I see people walking, kayaking, fire-pit gathering and cycling ; I pretty much stay in the relaxing room and eat. ? I noticed a farmers market on our way out on Monday.Safety: I absolutely feel safe walking around and at any hour, let’s just keep it that way by ALL MEANS.Walkability: I love that the convenience and liquor store are just across the street as well as many choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thai, Mexican and American is what we have tried so far.

Recommended by friends that we were visiting in Los Osos we chose the Baywood Inn Bed and Breakfast. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The room was nicely furnished and very comfortable. The fireplace in our room was a nice touch. We had a nice view of the bay both from our room as well as the seating area just outside our room. A delicious freshly prepared breakfast was provided at the La Palapa restaurant next door to the Inn. We look forward to our next visit.

With a view of the Bay and the dotting of lights from the sleepy, bucolic town of Los Osos, The Baywood Inn was the perfect place to stay for a quick friends getaway. Beautiful, clean and spacious, our room was absolutely luxurious and the views-spectacular! The staff is friendly and there were delicious snacks in the lobby.

We held a conference there of about 15 people and everything went well. The conference room was nicely set up and functional. The staff did a lot to accommodate us and make the conference run smoothly.Nearby activities: Lots of activities in the area, especially kayaking and hiking.Food & drinks: Great included breakfasts from La Palapa and excellent dining there and other places a few doors away.

Great find. Really cool spot. Not a lot to do within walking distance but if you enjoy quiet weekends, check it out. There's a great sandwich place next door and a Mexican restaurant that partners with the hotel. There's a convenience store and a lounge nearby. Plus, there's always Morro Bay, San Luis and Pismo within a reasonable drive.

What a great find! We were driving home from Santa Barbara & wanted a "layover" to break up the drive. This place was great. The room was a delightful 1930's look with the glossy pink tiles surrounding the fireplace & in the bathroom. The very comfortable king size bed was a couple of steps up off the small living room- dining area with a half wall separating it-which was nice bc I could watch a little tv after my husband went to sleep. This accommodation is directly across the street from the bay with spectacular views. Wine is offered at 5pm plus outdoor fire pits to watch the sunset. Great!Los Oso is a great little town-easy walking & really not much to it-BUT High Street Deli has fabulous sandwiches & a nice jewelry store next door. The wonderful farmers market on mondays makes me wish I lived there to take an active part in all their fresh fresh produce.Breakfast next door at the mexican restaurant was delish and the waitress was really sweet!!If this wasn't so far from our NorCal home, I'd be making Los Osos / Baywood Inn B&B a regular getaway spot. We will remember it the next time we happen to visit Santa Barbara or San Diego.
