“Shout out to YVETTE! I normally dread going to the post office, but she made my experience so special. She has wonderful, personalized service, a constant smile and works with the customers to ensure they’re getting the best price possible. Goldstar employee!”
“Small, community post office. We've always had great service. Lines can get long around the holidays, like most post office stations, but the team tries their best. We know the work can often be thankless, so kindly ask what you need, but be thoughtful and caring with your local USPS employee.”
“A much smaller post office with only one worker in the front but you'll get the customer experience that is severely lacking at all the other nearby post offices. The postal worker today was amazing. She was very nice - explained everything with detail and patience when I had questions. This office is a little more out-of-the-way for me, but I'll be using it regularly.”
“This is a really nice USPS store located in a nice, serene area in the Clayton Downtown area and next to a nice park, so the area was very green and surrounded by trees and plants. I went there on a weekend morning and pleasantly found that finding street parking to be super easy, and in fact there was a lot of parking available right in front of the store. I was able to conduct my business there and get in and out of the store pretty quickly. Definitely I would go to this USPS store again if I happen to be in the area.”
“This is a great post office! It's unfortunate that their reviews don't reflect it.The staff is always incredibly helpful. And they have a lot of patience in dealing with helping people with their packaging. I've never seen a look of contempt from any of them. In fact the opposite. 5 Huge ? ? ? ? ?”
“I always find the people in the Walnut Creek Post Office to be friendly, hardworking and helpful. Parking is easy and free. There can be lines but it’s not the fault of the employees.”
“Passports! I had to get passport renewals for minors, and that can only be done in person. It was impossible to get an appointment anywhere, but they do walk-in passport applications here!!!
Here is what I learned and my pro tips:
-walk-in appointments MWF 9-10am ONLY
-They only take the first 20 people… (I don’t know if that’s actually just the first 20 passport, but I don’t think it’s groups)
-If you’re number 21, you’re gonna have to come back another day
-If you wanna make sure you are in that first 20, you need to get your rear end there *** early*** (the line was about 30 people along by 8:30 AM today)
-don’t think that you can show up at 9 AM and be fine, at least not at this time of year
-Come with everything already completed
-Use black ink only
-Better yet fill out your application online and print it out
-Don’t worry about passport pictures, they take them there and charge $15
-They take check or debit card for passports. No credit cards.
-They’re strict and very busy, so bring your patience, be polite and be humble to their process
-if you are eligible to renew by mail, just do it and save yourself the hassle
The lady that helped me was very down to business, but awesome! I think this post office is great, they’re all nice and helpful.”
“The older gentleman is professional and helpful. He ensures your documents are in order and the forms are filled correctly. Unlike USPS locations in Antioch that are run by lazy people, here the gentleman is fast and tries his best to help his customers.”
“They don't answer the phone because they don't have one here unfortunately, they have really long lines, and the only good thing about this office is they are helpful and are nearby where I live so I can send packages”
“Keevin is the best, great service, respectful and great knowledge of service to renew passport and to do transactions smoothly and Wright. Appreciate you ?, From now on this is Location for me to renew passport. Thank you.”
“Very small location but efficient, the lady at the front desk was extremely helpful and also asked if I needed to purchase stamps which I thought very thoughtful!”
