Found a small hiking route that provides a high vantage view of the lake. Beautiful place for picnic, activities, or just relaxing.

It's awesome, you can swim anywhere you want as long as it's not completely full of people. But still, I'm giving it a 5.

Voted one of the top 10 best lakes in California by Sunset Magazine in 2006, Bass Lake is a beautiful recreational destination just 17 miles from Yosemite National Park. With sapphire blue waters surrounded by towering pine trees, the deep, scenic lake is a popular summertime getaway for boating, fishing, paddle boarding, water and jet skiing, wave running, and swimming. Bass Lake also offers amazing hiking trails with sublime views of Bass Lake and the surrounding Sierra National Forest. The lake offers several boat launches and marinas.
