Fraud Alert. I stopped by this gas station at 11:24 AM on 10/15/23. I tried to use my credit card at the pump and it said to "pay inside". Stupidly, I allowed the criminal cashiers to put $40 on my credit card. I used $30 for gas and got the new receipt with the correct balance. The problem is that the two women working (one on cell phone) attempted to steal almost $200. My credit card was charged $40 plus $151. I have cancelled my credit card and will be filing criminal fraud charges against the two thieves who were behind the cash register at the Pilot Gas Station at 11:30 AM on 10/15. You know that most of your customers are driving from Vegas to LA or vice versa and will not return if they see a discrepancy. Nice criminal outfit you have there.Shame on you Pilot for not overseeing the corrupt individuals who work for your company.For those of you who need gas and don't want to be ripped off, there are non-criminal gas stations across the freeway on the south side.

Card reader doesn't work at the pump. Inside, one of the self-pay register is having a problem. Another customer's card doesn't work inside and the worker blames it on the card, which would be easier to believe the f the other equipment wasn't so messed up. Food section completely unstocked--shelves bare. Kind of embarrassing.

Had a pleasant experience at this pit stop. Been driving from Utah and right when we walk in, we were immediately greeted. This convenient store has everything you could need from a wide array of snacks, bathrooms, a Subway, electronics, and even a shower/powder room. I appreciate that the restrooms were neatly maintained. Bonus points, the stalls don't have a wide crack as most bathrooms in the U.S, so you actually feel a sense of privacy. There are plenty of drinks you can choose from: coffee, Icee, soda, juice, smoothies. Neatly stacked are some creamers and cups. You can tell the employees take care of the place and often tidy up. You can also find some California souvenirs here by the Subway if you're ever stopping by. They do offer self checkout but also have actual cashiers if you need. As we were exiting, they greeted us a safe drive.

Terrible service. They make you use self checkout. What's the point of a cashier?I stood in line to pay for gas, there were two cashiers. Each cashier just stood there. They did not greet me. I had cash in my hand ready to pay for gas. I stood there for about two minutes, and they pointed at the self check out register. I had to add my fuel pump, amount, and place my money into the machine.What is this? Why do I have to use self check out? I don't work for this establishment. Why have cashiers then?Disappointed.

Quick pit stop to get some snacks and use the restroom. Clean facilities and friendly staff. Fill up cause there arent that many options.

"Welcome Truckers" sign nicely lit BUT both doors locked...Clean bathroom, clean store but NO hot foods...Sorry but truckers come and go ALL hours of the day, night and early mornings and we hungry. Come on Pilot make it right!!

This Pilot Travel Center in Barstow was fine. It checked off all the things I look for when it comes to being an acceptable travel center. Had a Subway sandwich shop which was cool. Gas prices were reasonable. Restrooms were pretty clean. So why only 3 stars? The experience was not worth more. It was just A-Ok.

I did the math when I walked in an realized how much gas would get me home and handed the clerk 3 $20.00 bills for a total of $60.00 for gas today. When I got to the pump I saw on the screen that they only credited me for $40.00 When I asked for my additional $20.00 I was told no I did not give them $60.00. I requested the manager who took a few minutes. I explained the situation and I'm sure she was probably willing to check the cameras but at this point I was annoyed and it wasn't worth my time for the stupid $20 bucks to stand there for another 10 or 20 minutes. I don't know if this was a scam or just an employee not paying attention but either get a receipt or make sure they confirm your payment. Just a friendly reminder.

A usual mid-way stop for us between Vegas and Southern California. Cleaner than gas stations and even have showers if you really need it. Subway restaurant located within makes it easy for a quick bite as well before hitting the road.

Fraud alert. Credit card info skimmed during travel in July 2020. Just now, the card was used to fraudulently make a purchase from the same gas station nearly a year later.

I wish I saw the Yelp review on this place, from Yelp user with my same name and last initial! Driving from LA to Las Vegas last night. Stopped in Barstow for a late dinner, and gas fill up here at Pilot gas station. As soon as I used my card, I got a fraud alert. DO NOT USE. This gas station isn't aware, nor able to counteract credit card fraud on their pumps.

Driving slow along 15S after a weekend fun at Vegas and I'm used to "not so dirty but not so clean restroom" , had a pleasant surprise on this one. Cleanest restrooms and great service. One of the best stop overs along 15.

For those going towards Las Vegas like us and you need gas. Take the extra five miles to go to this place. It may be crowded with folks, but totally worth the stop. Clean bathrooms, but don't forget to take time to stare at the men's bathroom door, it saids 'en' which was hilarious.
