I have been having issues with a replacement phone so needed to get another replacement phone. This was not MetroPCS' fault, but unfortunately I had to in less than a month pay another activation fee for a "new phone." This store had two people working. At first, the sales woman said that my new phone would be locked (after I told her that it would in fact be unlocked). I had no issues at a different store activating my phone with my same SIm card. I did not bring my old phone. They proceeded to tell me that I would need to purchase a new SIM card because it was not working in this new phone. They never looked up the information on the phone and put it in the system. I knew that was incorrect so I left. Unfortunately with stores closing earlier, I had to wait until the next day to drive out to Beaumont instead. The sales woman in Beaumont knew exactly what I was talking about and used my SIM card without any problem. Do NOT go to the store in Banning since they are not knowledgeable with the basics of activating a phone.
