“The only thing I don't like about this Goodwill is he will not let you use their restroom. I swear I begged and begged that cashier to let me go in there but they would not open it for me. I'm just warning anybody that thinks the bathrooms are open they are not.I also want a highly recommend their cashier April and also Jesse. The best manager in the world works here. She's really really pretty and she's one of the reasons why I keep coming back to the store because their customer service is really really good here.”

“The staff here is always nice and respectful. The prices are a bit high, but most thrift stores are expensive nowadays. I feel like they have good merchandise compared to other nearby thrift stores.”

“A friend of mine who volunteers her time with the Assistance League of Arcadia at the Bargain Box told me to check it out and so glad I did... 5 stars!!!!! If you are a fan of the Huntington Collection in Pasadena, you'll be sure to love the Bargain Box. Just like the Huntington Collection, I can't call it a thrift shop since it's not like any thrift shops I've been to! Looks more like an expensive antique shop when you step inside. I was blown away by the quality of the available merchandise, especially the housewares and decor. It's very evident that all of the pieces on sale were meticulously cleaned and staged by the hardworking staff. All of the furniture and housewares are excellent condition, not to mention very well priced. Make a point to visit before Halloween! The store is all decked out with Halloween decor! The Bargain Box is managed by the Assistance League of Arcadia, and one of their worthy endeavors is Operation School Bell, which provides much needed clothing as well as school supplies such as backpacks and books to children in need in neighboring local schools. There's a small parking lot but there should be plenty of street parking available if needed. Also, be aware that the store has limited hours since it's managed by volunteers. It's only open two days a week, Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 10am to 1pm.”

“Was there on Friday, 16th June, 2023, at 5:00pm and the store was open. Entered the store of diverse antiques and collectibles. I enjoyed the variety of items available and my friend and I did make some nice fun purchases. The gentleman that helped us mentioned that they hadn't been opened much this year but were going to try to have regular week day later afternoon hours and some on the weekend. There are two phone numbers listed on Google maps. Not sure if the numbers are active or answered. We were at King Richard's Antique Mall, Whittier, CA, that Friday afternoon and this shop is just north about three blocks. Enjoy!”

“I really like this place and when they have a sale it's fantastic. You really have to look hard and long for the right thing, but likely you will find it. If not the people there are very helpful. Today there was one young lady that was very helpful in assisting me to find the right frames for my house.”

“A nice mix match thrift shop of all sorts of things from clothing to leaf blowers. Tons of books, tons of records, tons of DVDs and CDs. If you got the time you'll find something really cool. Also be sure to look out for their color tag specials!Staff are really nice and helpful. Huge place. Prices are fair.”

“I've come here with 5 minutes to spare till closing time and found work-ready suiting (excellent navy blazer, nice fairly new pants) for $2 each on sale. Usually clothing prices are $10-$20. I've bought excellent pants here in women's size 6 to 8 which are in good shape and good brands. It's not a dump style thrift store. It's nicely curated. This is full of "Treasures". Beware that they close during the holidays each winter. They are only open from 11 to 2 mid-day, and only from Wednesday to Saturday. I highly recommend visiting here.”

“Super dope stuff and low prices, can't beat it! Support local businesses while you can! They have a huge amount of clothes, this is the perfect place if you have a couple hours free and want to expand your wardrobe. The guy who sells these items is super kind! Though this has been rated poorly by other users (mind you 7 years ago) this really is a treasure. Find out for yourself! It's worth a trip :)”

“This small thrift store has it all. Except parking. one spot is for donation, two handicap and about 8 spots for customers. Technically you are not supposed to park in the neighboring business. Off street parking is available but it can be a short or long walk. I have been there three times so far. the store is well staffed. Probably too well staffed. On my last visit an employee was keeping low in the back of the retail area playing a video game on his phone. I have had great interactions with other employee. The store has two color tag sales each week one for 50% the other 75% off. also they have incentive sales to bring in shoppers. Check the website. How one views the pricing is subjective. I personally find the pricing on the most affordable. so far this is the only thrift store that I have found that has a free to sign up loyalty program. Out of the three thrift stores I frequent in the Pasadena area this is my favorite.”

“I come to donate here a lot as my children grow out of their clothes. Natalie was working yesterday, as I felt stressed unloading so much stuff she gladly helped me. She's always assisted me with the best customer service I've ever seen. If you're like me and love associates being attentive, this donation center is it. Thank you Natalie!”

“I recently moved to this area, I loved the Assistance League Thrift Store from my previous home in West Covina so I thought I'd try this one out. As expected the prices were great, unlike other chain thrift stores nowadays, and the designer brands are there. It's half the size of the other location, BUT don't let that stop you from looking. Great finds, I will be going back in time for Halloween decorations. Highly recommend!”

“LOVE I spent $13 & got a gorgeous silk scarf, a vintage COACH belt, vintage leather Liz Claiborne belt & a silk tie. I am so happy with my loot. The ladies that work there were so kind; telling a new customer to come hang out with them when she remarked that she's been lonely since retirement.. my heart!”

“They have a dollar rack outside with some GREAT finds. Most of my purchase was from that rack. The women that work here are super friendly and keep everything super well organized. The clothes are almost always in great condition. Student discount! Every 3rd Saturday of the month they have a sale where all colored tag stuff is 50% off!”

“COVID-19: Social distancing is enforced at this establishment. All of the staff wears a mask. All customers are expected to wear a mask too. Some of the staff wear gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is opened for donations; however, you must call in advance and make an appointment with them because they are limiting capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. While I was helping my mom donate some stuff at this establishment today, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment. Parking: They have a ridiculously small parking lot. The spaces are really small and tight as well. I highly recommend parking in the lot right next to Goodwill. That lot is much more spacious. Lots of parking available in that lot with wide parking spots. The parking lot in Goodwill fills up super quickly. So if you wanna donate some goods and park in their lot, I recommend trying to make an appointment with them to be the very first person they see or the last person they see. Staff: The staff here are super friendly and nice. Very quick and easy process to donate your goods.”

“Hailey. Need I say more? She's a true gem of a cashier, always happy and helpful. (just don't ask her to say "generous" on the PA). She flubbed it and is a great sport when picked on. The store is nice and organized with the clothes sized and the housewares well sorted. I've always gotten help when needed and the prices aren't bad. I give it a thumbs up!”

“My friend was one of the orphans Salvation Army cared for decades ago. She asked me to frequent their resale stores. This location is on Citrus at Arrow Highway next door to Starbucks and across from Superior Grocery. It's well maintained. They always have sales. You can get interesting new/used items. There is adequate parking. The service is friendly and the prices are affordable. They might have anything pertaining to your home. They have clothes for the entire family. You never know what you may find.”

“This is one of my favorite goodwill locations, but there's rude young people working there now. About a month ago a few workers were very helpful and knew how to treat people.i saw a worker tall and tatted busy and still smiling, another pretty young girl putting clothes away she seemed so happy, and a new girl I spoke to I was like wow. She was really cleaning up walls and still doing many tasks. But they are gone now, you gotta bring them back to diamond bar, your fake manager boy doesn't know what he's doing, looks like a thug and i saw him putting stuff in his pocket. Won't stop me from shopping.i get great deals there. The vibe isn't the same without that tall guy gannie, cute Sara, or new lady.tracey they are workers you should keep . My words for u.”

“Kayla is the most kindness person ever. She knows how to treat people. And because of her kind personality, she has made me a person who tells the world of this fantastic store. Love it, love it. Kayla definitely needs a raise. I look forward in seeing her smiling face every week that I now come by. #nowmy#1store”

“Jenny and Chris were amazing. Extremely helpful and moved our large storage unit haul into the appropriate bins super quickly. They were dynamic and moved everything on the fly and were sweet and gracious. Highly recommend the donation center. They were clear with the acceptance criteria (they put things straight into the floor, so make sure furniture is up to snuff! Anything excessively scuffed or with water stains need to go somewhere else). Clear and concise. It was an in and out quick visit. Donations are 9 am and 8 pm drop off. Just make sure it’s clean and they’ll be able to move it quickly. They also accept working electronics like speakers. It’s pretty busy as well (drop offs in the back- there is a sign directing you).”
