I came into super g completely unknown in the world of RC drifting. I had some hobby grade off-road cars before but never drift. I came in with my little cousin today ready to buy a car. Firstly decided to see if they rented a car to see if this is something I truly am interested in And they did. After paying 30 bucks for 30-45 minute rental. And reading the rules and signing the papers. Which didn't say no sharing. The man told me to swapping back and forth. So I let my little cousin drift. He spent probably about 30 minutes drifting the car around the track from barely being able to drive straight. To being able to take the back half of corners. The track is very beautiful and has a good mix of turns. When he was driving I went to go look at some cars and ended up deciding on a chassis that I wanted a yokomo md2.0 for me and a yokomo yd2z for my cousin. I sat back down with my cousin at the track and he gave me the remote to do a couple laps. The man who had helped me before was now telling me that I was not allowed to share in the rental that I had paid for. Telling me that in real life on a real racetrack when you pay for track time you pay per driver. I was just confused by this. So I left with my cousin. Not purchasing the car I had decided on and my rental that still has charge when we left. Unfortunately in my confusion I didn't get the name of the employee. I understand that people have bad days but this was just, well disheartening. Needless to say not a great start to the rc drift community.

I drove 3.5 hrs to go to this place and run my 1:24 drift cars only to be told i was not welcome and I’d need to find someplace else to run my smaller cars for fear of upsetting the 3 other people running on the track. The guy behind the counter seemed more irritated that people were in the store than anything.

I accidentally shipped a package to an old address, and Oh My God! The Super G guys went out of their way to contact the new residents and coordinate getting the correct shipping label to them so I could get my stuff!
I knew Super G was awesome! but was not expecting them to go this far for an online order when the mistake was 100% My fault.
Best people in the business!
Thanks Again!

I came here with my son to purchase a remote control car for his 15th birthday, Unfortunately the gentleman with a scruffy beard and glasses working over the counter was very unhelpful and seemed to be focused on getting my son in and out. There was no one else at the counters at the time so I don't understand why he wasn't wanting to answer my son's questions. My son could even tell that he was being short with him, and in my opinion rude. Because of this my son wanted to leave and we ended up not purchasing anything from here. You lost my business and with employees like this I'm sure you will lose a lot more unless this is addressed. Customer services is key, any business owner knows that. It's too bad the employees don't ??

I drove for an hour to this highly-rated place, guided by online reviews and beautiful images of a drift course I had bought from super g online a couple week prior but had questions on what to buy. the sales experience was disappointing being pointed to a computer with the website up I was not helped in any productive way. The salesman seemed disinterested, often leaving to play with his friend. Getting assistance required multiple calls to the attendant. Even after explaining my needs as a newcomer, I received minimal help. And one point just said “I want to spend money what do you recommend I buy for my car” his response was “I have no idea what’s on your car I’d need to see it, which was right there on the counter between us. The atmosphere felt exclusionary, like a “can’t sit with us” vibe at an rc store…. If you own this shop, know that I had intended to spend $500-$1000 on parts but left with the bare minimum to justify making the trip. Came excited left irritated enough to write a bad review

my first time at super g was in jan of 2024 and my experience was pretty good. I can't remember the sales/customer rep there on my first visit but it wasn't bad. He greeted me and told me that I needed to use the PC to look up which car shell I wanted and i went on my way after my purchases. second experience was not so great, i went in to buy yokomo chassis. I also asked if they had any reved motors and he said yes, and i asked how's that motor and the second customer service rep gave me a blank stare and told me he never ran it before and i asked how much is it? and he said im not sure, all the prices are online. in my head im like damn, i felt like i wasnt suppose to ask that question. he told me he only run acuvance and i asked is there a difference? he said idk i never ran anything else. in my mind i'm asking myself, damn he giving me short replies and he seem annoyed. i told him i'm new to RC and there are some brands I never heard of and i just wanted to know but all good and he gave me a blank stare, and i said alright man ill just get what i need and bounce. so 3rd time is today, i went in with my daughter, i got greeted by one of the guys who i believe is the owner? Im not sure, and there was another guy that walked from the back who might be another owner? They didn't really show interest on wanting to help me. I came in to buy but they walked to the mini track and just started doing laps with their mini cars. im like damn okay so i waited and looked around. eventually someone came and asked if i needed help. his name is allen. cool person. we ended up talking about his mazda build, nice guy man, he told me his set up and everything. educated me on his build and what gyros and servos are good for his style and told me that he runs acuvance but he said there isn't much difference other than its just fancy electronics but it works well with futaba. he said with futaba transmitter, he can control everything. im liike damn i didnt know that, that is really good info. 3rd experience was a good one. hopefully allen will be there when i come again. allen deserves 5 star.

Today is 02-09-24 & the new super G Drift layout is Turning into a Mini Z layout it doesn't feel as fun as before " who ever did this layout gotta stick to Mini Z Because this layout honestly sucks There investing too much time on mini z & burly putting any effort on the drift track. Drift track needs maintenance it has all kinds of scratches glue from previous layouts " this layout doesn't flow as good anymore " Nomore entries it honestly feels like a mini z layout. I don't know how there gunna compete with this layout this year. Completely disappointed

This place is RC heaven!! They just opened a mini-z track! They have two large tracks one for 1/10 scale drifting and mini-z racing! They stock a massive amount of upgrades for your 1/10 rwd chassis or 1/28 mini-z
