More like a 2.5 but I'm rounding up. Big W's are that they're very integrated into their app ecosystem, at least physically at the Kaiser location. It's been impossible for me to normally book appointments though. I had to go to urgent care but ended up doing a whole ass 9-5 there... I guess my case wasn't as urgent as I thought it was. To be fair, everything went by super smoothly until I got to the CT scan part of the tests that they had to run for me. Checking into the urgent care and meeting with the provider, getting my blood work, checking into various departments went by quite smoothly. It's like the DMV on steroids to be honest, you'll see your name on the board, get a text message, sometimes they'll call you on the intercom when it's your turn, a really well oiled machine if everything goes by quick enough. I waited 4 hours for my CT scan when the actual procedure itself was only 15 minutes. Almost 2 hours in the waiting room and then another almost 2 hours after I've changed into my gown. People called in the same time with me were done way before me, even for the same test. Sucks, but it is what it is. I was never uncomfortable at any point even with blood drawn and IV with contrast put in me. All healthcare providers were professional and informative, showing enough care in the short time period that I got to see them for. The outside is really nice with the fountains and you can mobile order at the Starbucks on site too.

I have not been pleased with the orthopedic department. There was once a time when they had a personality and would listen to you. Now it's like you are a bother to them and they rush you out. They seem to forget that they have a job because of us. After coming here for 40 years I recently have seen a change in this hospital. Also, my wife was having trouble with her breathing her doctor had my wife get a CAT Scan which showed two blood clots in her lungs they called my house exactly one week later and said she needed to go to E.R. Even the doctors were not happy with how this was handled. The nurse came into the room to give my wife an E.K.G. After the test she pulled all cords off of her from standing behind the machine we both should have said something but we didn't want any problems. With the doctors knowing the date of my wife's CAT scan and how they called her a week later with life-threatening blood clots this matter should have been addressed.

I recently had the privilege of undergoing outpatient surgery with Dr. Edward H Kim in vascular surgery and I must say that my experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the friendly surgery staff at the front desk. The ambiance of the waiting area was calming, which helped alleviate any pre-surgery nerves I had. The nurses who attended to me during my visit were truly exceptional. They were not only highly skilled and efficient in their duties but also displayed a level of compassion and care that made me feel completely at ease. Their reassuring presence and constant attention throughout the procedure were a true testament to their dedication to patient well-being. Dr. Edward H Kim, the vascular surgeon who performed my surgery, was an absolute standout. Not only did he demonstrate a high level of expertise and precision in his work, but he also took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure to me in a way that was easy to understand. His patience in answering all my questions and addressing any concerns I had truly set him apart as a healthcare provider who values patient education and empowerment. The post-operative care I received was also exceptional, with the nursing staff ensuring that I was comfortable and well-informed about my recovery process before I left the facility. The follow-up instructions were clear and detailed, which helped me feel confident in managing my recovery at home. Overall, my experience at Dr. Kim's outpatient surgery was nothing short of outstanding. The level of care provided by the nurses and the expertise and compassion shown by Dr. Kim truly made a positive impact on my overall experience. I would highly recommend this BP facility to anyone in need of vascular surgery or any outpatient procedure. Thank you to the entire team for a job well done!

Most of the time the care is very good, for a gigantic facility it's very well run. I never feel they are withholding care or worse lying to me like some insurers I've dealt with. Most of the time the wait times are reasonable. My suggestion is get to everything early, even stop and eat at the cafeteria before your appointment, that way you won't have to rush while parking and you might just bump ahead of a late persons appointment and get seen sooner which I've done. I live near the "Emanant Health" hospitals in the area and from experience I do not trust them at all, I'm glad Kaiser is nearby and an option. I've also have been hospitalized several times and the care is always very good!

What's the point of paying for this HMO, if you go because of an emergency plan on sitting in the lobby for 6+ hours.

If I could give no stars I'd definitely would. THIS KAISER SUCKS. Waited 9 hrs from 6 pm - 3 am. They took my blood, urine, and vitals and had me sit and wait in the lobby 9 hrs for a "room" I was told that I had the longest wait time and yet let everyone else go before me. I hate the emergency room just for this. They don't care that you arrive first or that you are in pain who ever walks in after and they think is worse than you are best believe they'll push you further and further down the wait list. I wasn't the only one who waited so long by the way, before me there were others who had waited up to 10 hours dying with pain before being admitted.

The fresh food is nil to none. Mostly grill has burgers which are pretty good (cheese burger and a bag of chips $9)...cold overpriced sandwiches. The Eatery looks sad and bare. There is only 1 small microwave that apparently has to be shared with the staff, so don't use it during the lunch hour because there will be a line. The dining area is not always cleaned. I have been here for weeks and I just saw someone cleaning the tables...I usually have to clean my own table before use. There's cobwebs on the windows and the floors really should be at least swept up more often.

It's really sad to see your loved ones in agony and despair while waiting in the ER waiting room for 9+ hours realizing there is nothing nurses can provide while WAITING to at least make them comfortable. I watched my mom suffer 9 hours in pain yesterday sitting in that gross er room. They need to hire more staff or expand their ER room for more beds. This is ridiculous I'm seriously considering leaving Kaiser after 31 years after our experience yesterday.

Yet again, another horrible experience at the Baldwin Park urgent care. Dr EDWARD TAI CHIANG DO, wasn't helpful at all, he actually told me to in the future, I should go to a different urgent care since they couldn't help me there. Dr EDWARD TAI CHIANG DO said this before they did any bloodwork or urine tests. After waiting 6 hours for the lab's results, I was still in agonizing pain, he was just going to discharge me because my labs came back normal, but still nothing to help the pain. I told iim that I would like them to do a CT scan or an x-ray, and he said that he didn't recommend that I needed anything else done, but if I wanted to do the CT scan, it would take at least another 5 hours for the results. What kind of incompetent circus are they running here, and why is every visit to this the worst experience ever. No parking, no compassion, and no service. What am I paying for? Dr EDWARD TAI CHIANG DO is the un happy unhelpful lady that works at the DMV!

ER. Staff seemed to be organized and very friendly. Common areas were frequently cleaned and rooms were well kept. Nursing staff and doctors were incredibly attentive, patient and knowledgeable. Patience is always required in a hospital setting where hundreds of others are being treated, but I am truly blown away by this place. My room had a couple of large, hard chairs for seating- Good for short term visits but perhaps not so comfortable for long term company.

If I could give them a zero I would. I wouldn't want my worst enemy coming to this ER. The nurses are so rude and act like they are playing god. I have been here for 8 hours and counting. People have checked in and checked out two fold, while I'm sitting here with chest pains and shortness of breathe. I'm beyond disgusted and will look into joining a different medical plan in the morning. F grade! Something needs to be done before people start or continue to die because of their negligence and rotten attitude. After 9 hours they finally had a bed available for me in the hall. I did have a CT scan which was deemed "all clear", only to get the results today. I'm a cancer fighter and my CT scan doesn't look positive. I have some more testing and more doctor visits coming my way. I will never ever step foot in that ER again! I'd rather die at home! Kaiser, something needs to change asap! So many other reviews I read on here regarding the emergency room are equal to mine if not worse! What's it going to take?? I'd appreciate a follow up and disciplinary action to the "nurse" at the check in counter. Disgusting patient interactions! And I wasn't the only one last night thoroughly disappointed and upset about the treatment!

On my last review with kaiser, i really should have mentioned that apperently there is valet parking on the ER side that yes you can be in urgent care for a actual emergency but they will still ask you to move the vehicle because its valet parking onlyin the ER are you guys serious??

tonight me and my husband went to the E.R. We waited close to 5 hours almost 6. Never did they come check his vitals while he waited. Worst ER experience. They told us they would contact poison control and then they never told us anything afterwards. Its a huge run around at this facility. The quality of care is below average and they don't care about their patients.

Absolutely the best care I could receive. I have the utmost respect for all the staff I have encountered. The staff and facility are completely dedicated to patients well being and care. A most professional and well run facility. Thank you Kaiser and your entire staff.
