I believe someone there is tampering with or stealing mail. Three times my check has come up missing. THREE TIMES!!! something isn’t right. I have informed delivery, so I know when my mail is supposed to come. I get all my other mail pieces except my check. I manage the property where I live and I have access to the cameras. The residential mailboxes have not been tampered with. It’s literally not making sense. Y'all need to get it TF together fast not slow.

I have been here many times, and it is usually quick and easy to get in and out. A couple of weeks ago, I had to mail a certified letter, and the clerk was really helpful. Guess your attitude towards them affects the way they treat you.

Buyer Beware: STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. I dropped off a package inside the building last Saturday after hours. It's been almost a week and tracking has not updated. I went in to talk to someone about it and the employee (Willie) basically said I was SOL because I didn't drop off my package during normal business hours with a clerk. I cannot file any sort of claim even though my package had insurance on it because according to their records (never scanned in/tracking not updating), they never received it. I wish I would have read the reviews before dropping off my package at this location. I am pretty sure my package was stolen by the employees ? Save yourself the hassle and go to a different location.

I've been to this place and one thing I can describe is the people and their customer service. I'm having problems with the mail man and the employees in the building. I supposedly recived a package at my door from Amazon and nothing was there. Checked cameras and nothing, I went in today to talk with the employees. Everyone served me with an attitude and a guy tried to assume my package was "stolen". why bother to work if everyone hates their jobs and with a horrible character?

Poor customer service my wife and I went yesterday to drop off a package. There were only a few customers ahead of us and when it was our turn the lady post office worker asked someone who was walking in if he needed help with his package instead of us. Then a male post office worker became available and he called the customer behind us to help him completely ignoring my wife and I. Then finally the original post office lady said I can help you after no one else was in line and stated to us you’ve been waiting a longtime. We said yes because no one wanted to help us drop off a package. She then scanned my package and asked us if we needed a receipt and it took only a minute. Management needs to address customer service issues because this is unacceptable.

Went there as a tourist to drop a postcard and a package to Switzerland. Willie was very kind and helpful, and the other workers seemed efficient aswell.

All I needed was information, but you can't speak to somebody without going through 50 different automatic prompts; and then once you're successful getting to the prompt you need, it's an hour + long wait for just a simple question. Ridiculous. I get people ask stupid questions, but sometimes the auto service is more time consuming than just asking a live human being a simple question that would take less than 3 minutes.

They DO NOT have self service package drop off for anything larger than a commercial flap envelope.

horrible service unfortunately all my mail comes by there first and i now understand why most my mail and packages are missing. it took me 15 minutes there to see how they mishandle packages and the customer is always wrong according to them they are quick to pick up an argument as opposed to answering questions or helping customers. several times i try explaining the transaction and instead she offered her manager because her primary objective was to charge for a service that was not been provided. double charge for envelopes that will be no good to me. finally she said to get back in line so someone else could help.

Employee could not assist us in regards to our Change-of-Address query, or rather did not wqnt to bother with it because he stated that we needed to get california state IDs when our current IDs are still valid for 4 more years. And in the end it would not resolve anything because we need articles that have our name and old address on it to verify. We had our previous lease so that they can verify but they decided they could not proceed further until we got the new IDs. I would suggest that the employee recieve more training on the verification process and actually read the fine print instead of dismissing clients when it got a little difficult due to their misunderstanding.

This is my regular post office. They cover a very large area of Bakersfield. The office is usually clean and well stocked. Postal staff are always kind and respectful. They have a lot of PO Boxes available for rental as well.

This post office is horrible. My block’s mail box has not gotten mail but one time in a month. To be fair, there was an issue with a wasp nest that started it but it got removed and still they don’t deliver mail for weeks afterward. Everyone has to call and go in person to pick up their mail and gets met with attitudes every time from the office. Everyone inside is rude, in person and on the phone. But their mail carrier still won’t deliver. We do not want to be there either and if they would just deliver the mail we wouldn’t need to.

If I can could give 0 stars I would. The customer service is outrageous. I get that some people have bad days but these folks seem to have a bad day everyday. They talk to you as if your dumb and they don’t even let you explain in detail your situation always try to interrupt. I’ve came a handful of times already and it’s always an issue with them. They need to change the clerks or management idk what the issue is with them but something needs to change. Worst post office I’ve ever been in.
