Not impressed with the “unlimited” subscription. It is run not my Supercuts corporate, but by Moxie Management, a franchisee of 73 Supercuts locations in California. There is no customer service provided by Moxie Management they do not respond to emails or answer the phone. They seem to have sold way more memberships than they can cut, so expect to wait hours on the days you actually have time to get a haircut. Employees seem to hate it too because no one tips. The terms and conditions state if you cancel your membership they cut you off immediately, even if you were just charged the previous day. Even Netflix, Hulu, the gym etc wouldn’t try such a scummy business tactic. I’m done with Supercuts, so you’ve lost my family as a customer for good. I recommend others look elsewhere.

So I have long heavy hair and I was sick and tired of dealing with constant knots. I decided to give Super Cuts a try, a woman named Samantha cut my hair, AND I LOVE IT. She did exactly what I wanted even though I was kinda vague. She kept my hair long but gave me great layers so it's easier to manage. She washed my hair in the end rather than the beginning so I didn't leave with stray hairs falling out all day. Simply amazing. I will be coming back, especially to Samantha.

I couldn't stand my long hair any longer in the current hot conditions in California so it was time to go short again. It seems that haircuts are all by appointment anymore so preplanning is critical. My usual location had long waits. I checked other locations and the shortest wait was on Stockdale but I couldn't find it due to problems with my GPS in my car. I went to the Ming location and my best chance was a 3pm slot. So I looked at photos while waiting. Fortunately their 1pm was late and their 2pm hadn't yet shown so my enterprising hairdresser swapped my 3pm for their 1pm and I was nearly done by the time she arrived over 22 minutes late. Hannah was great and I love my new do. She managed to figure out exactly what I needed based on a couple of "styles" and some vague statements. I plan to go back her for trims as needed. Thanks Hannah.

I'm on the monthly $14.99 haircut plan.. & just love.. love the gals that do my hair .. because I go into the Marketplace shop every 3 weeks for a clean up of my short hair & the gals usually know exactly what I get.. I've been coming to Supercuts from east Bakersfield salon, Stockdale & now Marketplace for approx. 18 years.

As parents we are always trying to find places where our kids can feel comfortable and at the same time get a nice hair cut. It was my baby first hair cut, and my 6 year old Boy regular hair cut. Hanna and Guadalupe were amazing technicians and as customer service they were far beyond this. Hanna sang for my baby the whole process and Guadalupe was always making sure that my boy was feeling comfortable.So Don't hesitate to go there if you want to be as happy as we were????

The barber who helped me was very nice and understanding, she fixed me up quite nicely and went on my way without any problems, and since I walked all the way myself in Bakersfield summer heat I was handed a cold towel in the beginning and end of the cut, if there I was one thing I would do differently is tip, cause I was in such a hurry I forgot to tip.

Don't get the unlimited hair cuts. It is a hassle to be able to get a haircut at this or any other place on this side of town. They only accept appointments which is fine but there's no real online or app that supports this (ive had to call to make my appointment) and this morning, I've been calling for 30 min to get my appointment and some establishments simply hang up on me while others never answer. Absolute trash customer service. Im so upset at the situation that i want to cancel my unlimited membership and the phone number listed as a contact just gives me a recording to leave a message. Ill just contact my credit card company to block them bc this is damn near a scam. I can only get in on appointment but when i try to, i apparently have to go in to make the appointment... so what's the point? Ill just go somewhere i can simply walk in.

I had an appointment at 10am, i came in early and i gave my name. She said, "well we wont see you early because your appointment is at 10am."I said ok. I asked about her highlight services displaying on the board and she again snapped, " we're not doing that right now."i said," Well it was displaying on your board?"no explanation....i got up and left no need for this attitude.
