“Great place to buy most of your athletic and outdoor equipment. Every time I visit this store it's never overly busy and they always have at least 2 cashiers available for the customers to check out. It's not a very large store. However, they do have what you need when it comes to biking, fishing, camping, biking, bowling, baseball, football, basketball and so on.”

“This is my husband's to go place when any of us need new shoes. He's a WSS rewards member, so he likes to apply any funds available to the balance owed. The store always seems stocked and clean. They have every brand that I can think of, plus the apparel is state of the art. I believe the prices are reasonable because brand-name shoes are expensive regardless of where they are bought.
I've never encountered a rude employee, but I've never encountered a friendly, helpful employee.

“Gary and Bruce were extremely helpful. Me and my friend went in to get our bows set up to us and buy releases, arrows, and targets. We are both new to archery and Gary and Bruce were really knowledgeable and passionate about helping us out and getting all our equipment ready to use. They took their time to help us with our shooting form and gave us a bunch of useful tips about shooting and maintaining our gear. Overall, they went above and beyond in terms of getting us set up and ready to shoot some arrows! We couldn't be happier with the level of customer service we received.”

“I went to the Bakersfield store to look at a mountain bike . An associate quickly asked if I needed help . He mentioned more information than i expected in regards to all the bikes they carry . From gears , breaks , tires, shifting and much more . This young man was so pleasant and helpful. Not to mention very informative. I was so comfortable with his kindness that I recalled other items I needed. He guided me to the other sports items I needed. Needless to say I had no idea the different jump ropes that were available for different workout types. Once again very informative , kind and professional . In the end I bought the more expensive rope and I was so thankful for him that he explained the difference in each jump rope . Thank you Isaac in Bakersfield CA. I’ll be back for the punching bag .”
