“If you have never been to Guarantee Shoe Center ,please consider them for your next shoe purchase. I took my elderly dad in to purchase some dress shoes and was so pleased with the whole experience. We were greeted by Frankie ,who ended up helping us find the perfect shoes for dad. Frankie was patient and kind to us while dad tried on shoes. Frankie actually measured my dads foot ,and then helped him try the shoes on! We ended up buying 2 pair of dress shoes and a pair of slip on Sketchers that my dad absolutely loved! I was so happy that they had the Sketchers there,so I didn't have to take my dad into a big wherehouse to find him these specific shoes. We l had a great experience at Guarantee Shoe Center,and Frankie went above and beyond. He even helped us out by carrying our packages to our car! Now where else can you find that kind of red carpet treatment? ?

“Support your local shop! The owner is super chill. Store has a good selection of decks, some completes, and even skate shoes (vans, lakai). They're really friendly and will help you pick out equipment (great if you're a beginner). Been riding my board for a while now and I'm pretty happy with it!”

R&B/soul band Maze featuring Frankie Beverly shot their video for "Back in stride" where Frankie comes down the sidewalk and saw Converses in the window to add magic in the shoes then comes Maze to put on a pair of Converses and dance.According to his recent passing the shoe store still standing.

“7/18/23Didn't welcome me in however it was very clean and many options to shop for. Today however I was looking for a closed toe heel and I wasn't satisfied with the very few options there were. On the other hand there are other types of shoes. I have been there before and love how low the prices are and I do like shopping there for regular shoes. I would go back again”
“I found out, last minute, that the dress shirt I had no longer fit. On my way to my cousins wedding I stopped at the Bakersfield store for a new dress shirt. I was immediately greeted by a salesperson named Gabby. She very professional and attentive. She help me find the perfect size shirt. She even took the time to find a same size shirt that was out of the package so I could see how it fit. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of great customer service because in this day and age you don't get that anymore. Thank you Gabby!!!”

“Been shopping here for years. Kids. Work. Now hiking/work boots for kids and myself. Keep eyes open for the BOGO sales! I'd got backpack deals this year in February. Good quality sport packs.We actually had a shie malfunction within the first 10 hours of wear. First time ever we took boots in and got a straight trade after we provided receipt. They made the moment right and we got replacement boots easy.”

“This is my husband's to go place when any of us need new shoes. He's a WSS rewards member, so he likes to apply any funds available to the balance owed. The store always seems stocked and clean. They have every brand that I can think of, plus the apparel is state of the art. I believe the prices are reasonable because brand-name shoes are expensive regardless of where they are bought.
I've never encountered a rude employee, but I've never encountered a friendly, helpful employee.
We bought our soon to be 6th grader two pairs of shoes for $120, and they are exactly what she wanted, so that makes me happy!”
“I stopped in to get some shoes for a trip out of town. It's only my 2nd time visiting this store, and I'm kind of upset at myself that I never bought anything here before. I attribute this to the friendly staff, the good sale, and comfy shoes. I can't wear regular flat vans because of no arch support, so Raquel suggested the ultra range shoes. She also chatted me up about the Dodgers being a fellow fan (I was wearing Dodgers gear to the store). The shoes were a great fit, and I also noticed a sale on some ultra range shoes for my son for back to school. Friendly service plus a great product = happy customer.”
