Only place I take my dog, I get her nails trimmed her but they are great with everything, they care about your animal and try to please us as well. They have a medical aide and a grooming aide you should stop what you are doing and schedule with them if you're reading this.

Botched our 3 girls spays, did tons of interior damage on their bodies and didn’t tell us about it. Then proceeded to blame us and tell us to go elsewhere to get it fixed. As if that wasn’t enough my neighbor used them too a while back and something similar happened to them. I would steer clear and find somewhere else. As a medical student, I can say spays are supposed to be relatively quick and uncomplicated. Accidentally puncturing my dogs colon is not normal for this sort of vet surgery. Super duper unprofessional and not skilled. Awful incisions as well

I have never seen so many happy animals at a vet. This place is always so welcoming and clean. The employees at the front desk are knowledgeable and the vet techs are always so happy to see my Molly. A little heart broken when she happily went back with them, but also blessed to have found such a great place to take her.

We have been coming to this vet for almost 15 years and in the last 6 months to a year their office is in disarray. We can’t get the help we need when we need it from this vet. They have prioritized volume and new patients over long time loyal customers. It’s truly a shame as I like Dr. Willis and his approach to treatment, but he needs to get a grip on his practice and whoever is running it for him. I would not go here if you are wanting to establish a loyal and longtime relationship that is valued, look elsewhere.

Buyer beware because San Joaquin Veterinary Hospital likes to up sale you on all kinds of extra things you don't need and they don't even tell you, they just make their own decision to charge you extra without you knowing what the addictional charges are. I had a phone conversation with them the day before my puppy was to be neutered. We went over the cost, I was very adamant that I did not want to add anything additional other than what we agreed upon, which was the surgery and pain medicine, and that I couldn't afford any else right now. But she continued to ask if I wanted extra things done, I repeatedly said NO to everything, she asked will you need a cone for him, NO I will not need one, I have 2 different types of cone/collars that I have tried out on my dog and they both work just fine and he is not able to like himself. She stated that was fine just make sure that you bring it in when your dog gets dropped off. I had my daughter drop our dog off for me because I work about 40 to 45 minutes away in the opposite direction of the vet. She left with the cone/collar in hand to the vet, she called on her way back to say he's dropped off and yes she took the collar inside and handed it to whoever took the dog and said here is his after surgery collar. They called her to let her know he was ready to be picked up, so when she arrived they had their own clear plastic cheap cone tied around his neck, my daughter had no idea what was going on between my prior conversation with them the day before other than picking him up and dropping him off and to take our cone with her. They had my credit debit bank card on file to charge only the amount that we discussed, but then I receive a notification from my bank that there was a charge from the vet that was above what we had discussed. I immediately called to find out why there were additional charges to my card! They kept shuffling me around to different people and no one had a good answer as to why this happened or why someone didn't call me regarding any additional amount they wanted to charge me, they said we don't have to call you, we can charge whatever we want without telling you or getting approval first. She just kept lying about my collar not being there, it was constant back and forth of why they were right and I was wrong. Then finally someone else got on the phone and said oh do you mean the grey collar. For one second they can't find it, then the next oh yes we have that collar that your daughter brought when she picked him up and your dog left in our collar so that's what the additional charges were. No one apologized nor took responsibility for the mistake they made, I was so frustrated at this point and I demanded for my bank card to be refunded the amount of their collar, she very rudely said fine then bring our collar back, I'm at work until 5pm there's no way I would have made it all the way to my home to get the collar and then another 15 minutes to the vet in time before they closed. I told them this is not my fault and that there was no way I could get there collar back to them due to my work hours or my daughter's work hours and they needed to make it right because this is fraud, deception and unprofessional conduct not to mention horrible customer service. I ended up filing with the BBB and in their response they still never admitted to any wrong doing or error on there part. They just kept lying and lying to try and cover their mistake. I denied their response to BBB and responded again, so we'll see if I get my $24 dollars credited back to my bank account. To some people $24 may not seem like a lot but to me it was gas in my car. They just don't care about their customers, if they did they would have made it right but only kept lying and coming up with different stories. With their fraudulent ways and lack of compassion they shouldn't be in charge of anyones pets. For all the pet parents out there if you treat your fur babies as family, then I would NOT take them to San Joaquin Veterin

Extremely caring with each of our pets. Giving options of what is best for the animal as well as the owners keeping in mind that financial aspect is a big one for many people. They care and supported us through some really tough decisions. Best Dr our animals have seen in decades!

The old lady in the front must be hard of hearing or blind because customers will be standing waiting for help while all other reception is busy helping people, Miss Retirement Fund is just sitting, looking down coloring with high lighters the entire time

I have only had wonderful experiences here. Everyone is very kind to my elderly dogs. Dr Willis is no nonense, and I feel an honest vet. For example he asked if I wanted to do an x ray, I said I would leave it up to him, and he said no. That was reassuring. I have never had to wait a long time.
