This review is for the Pharmacy. We been coming to this store and pharmacy location since February of 2005 for medications and other things to purchase from the store. Most of the time I get the yearly medication report for my wife by walking in and give her DOB then the person at the window they print it for me. But not this time today is Tuesday 01/16/2024. I understand it is for security reasons that the same person have to be present but at this time my wife she's ill and she's in the car and it's hard for her to walk she gets tired fast and she cannot breathe because she's anemic and her hemoglobin is 7.4 and she's 84 years of age. I asked for her medication report for the year for tax reduction and they will not give it to me unless she's present. I told the lady behind the register at the pharmacy that she cannot walk she's ill but she insists for her to be in person, then she spoke to the pharmacist and the pharmacist insisted also. Then the pharmacist said that we can mail the report to your home address. I said no. So what's the difference between print it now for me as I am in front of you or mail it? By mailing the report it could be delivered to the wrong address and get in the wrong people's hands and it happens before. That's why I am there. She could ask me for her photo ID or her Driver's license to prove to her that I am her husband and she's in the car and I am not stranger. I could go to the car and get her DL or ID. Even the pharmacist knows that I am her husband and I pick up her medication at all times. Why this time? And by the way we live about 35 minutes away from this story just one way. So I want to the car and forced my wife to walk to the pharmacy to get the yearly report then they asked her for a photo it just because!!! This is insane. This is not how you treat you customers or patients especially with this age. It's just wrong.?The management of Rite Aid they needs to train their employees more often how to engage and respect the customers especially with a matter like this for me and others. Today is January, 17, 2024 I went to CVS closest to where we live about a 1 mile & a half away from our house and transferred all of my wife prescriptions medications from this Rite Aid at 9000 Ming Avenue to the CVS Pharmacy close to our house because of one small unpleasant action from the pharmacist and the employee behind the register. Where no longer shopping in any of Rite Aid stores or it's pharmacys. And we don't have to drive an hour &10 minutes to be harassed.

Please update your pharmacy hours as it is very inconvenient to have incorrect hours because customers show up and are unable to get help.

I will only leave a review if something really bad happens. I work in a service job also so I understand how hard it can be. The staff here was super rude and passive aggressive. She said he name was Hedi but she could have given a fake name. She was disrespectful and it makes me never want to spend my money here again.

I don't typically leave reviews but my last experience warranted one.The staff here was extremely rude and condescending. This is this second time a prescription has had issues due to things on their end they can't explain.They refused to acknowledge or explain their mistakes and they refused to even give me a time frame on my refills. When asked how to avoid this issue moving forward, they also refused to offer any input. When I tried to explain to the second rep that jumped in, the pharmacist cut me off and told her something else has happened. When I asked if I can pick up my meds that evening I was effectively told "if I have time". No time frame, nothing.These medications are important and it's not ideal to go without these longer than I need to. I don't benefit from arguing with my pharmacist and I don't benefit from leaving reviews. I'll be going else where, but I wanted to at least warn anyone who might be considering this Rite Aid pharmacy.

Worst service ever! Will never return. My brother was in a really bad car accident and due to his injuries he was approved for California Childrens services and upon release of the hospital he was prescribed strong medication. I called to make sure the medicine was ready before heading out and gave the pharmacist his information needed to pull up his ccs (his social and DOB) and the pharmacist said she needed his member number which we never got! I called another pharmacy and they told me they could just look up his CCS number with his social and his DOB, and that basically the pharmacist was just being lazy! The other pharmacy them looked up his me ever number and gave it to me. I couldn’t transfer his medicine to another location since he needed his medication ASAP and we were desperate to get his medicine since we saw the pain he was going through just waiting. In situations like these it’s horrible rite aid would do this and have patients wait to get their medicine just because their staff is lazy. I will definitely be writing a complaint with the California state board of pharmacy because no one else should go through this.

My 4 year old dropped his ice cream cone on the way out. The staff was so sweet and rushed to clean up the mess and replace his ice cream. Things like this make a difference. This will now be ghe Rite Aid of choice for their excellent customer service!

This review is in regards to our experience at the the pharmacy this afternoon. We came into this store for the flu shots at about 100. They said the pharmacist who gives shots was at lunch. We were given paperwork to fill out. We filled out the paperwork, gave the lady our insurance card and waited. At about 2 00 the pharmacist called us to the counter to tell us the paperwork was complex because we had never had vaccines there before. She asked us to come back in one hour. We came back just a little after 3 00 and waited some more. At about 3 15 a lady called us to the counter to tell us the shot will be $48. I guess they are not contracted with our insurance company. I just paid over $1053 for this month's insurance so I will not be paying 98 dollars for shots that have been fully covered for many years. I have no problem with Rite Aid for not doing business with Blue Cross Blue Shield. But damn- don't waste over two hours of our time before telling us. We walked a few hundred feet to the west and walked into Vons and left Vons with our shots by 3 45. Professional and timely service was provided by Vons, something Rite Aid would know nothing about.

I think it’s a very unfriendly place to go into. No one says hello, no one says thank you and no one says have a nice day, in fact they all act like robots and have are just plain flat not friendly. I live close and dread having to go in there.

First, they always do a great job with my prescription at the pharmacy, and the store is always clean and well distanced. Second, got my Covid-19 vaccine here, and I barely felt a thing. Great job! Everyone was helpful and supportive. Thank you!
