I rented an Acura for the weekend, went to Patterson California 186 miles one way and back when I return the car on Monday they said I traveled over 2000 miles. which was not true and yet they showed me no proof of this which was very odd. Then they said they would waive my fees when i tried to pay with debit card.. Definitely not recommend to rent feom them They will lie to you and keep your deposit thats why they accept cash.

This was the only place that would rent me a car with cash plus the owner himself picked me up. I got all my deposit back. Had no issues with them at all. Plus I was given extra miles. Thank you for the great experience with renting a car.

If I could give negative stars I would. I was desperate for a rental car because no one had any. I even made 2 separate reservations with other companies and when I showed up they didn't have any cars available. So this place was a last resort and for good reason. He said he would give me a deal for $65, but charged $265 for the deposit. I drove the beat up, glass on the floor, streaked windshield, with cracked wipers, dashboard lighting up like a game show, ripped up seats passenger van for 30 min. He gave me the van with 89 miles to empty. I called to say I was returning the van because I didn't feel comfortable driving it. When I tried to use the windshield wipers, debris came flying out and only streaked the windshield even more. He said he would give me another van. I was hesitant but agreed. He called me when I was enroute and asked where I was, I told him I was on my way, he said he would show me a contract that someone had driven 300 miles the previous weekend with no problems. I told him I just didn't feel comfortable, I didn't want to take the chance the vehicle would break down. I couldn't be let down by another vehicle of his. He refunded the $200 deposit, but refused to refund the $65, due to his policy of no refunds for early returns. I told him I just went down the road I would pay the $20 for gas, he refused. He said he's not running around for free. This is how he makes money. Scamming people into taking his pos and it falling apart down the road.

do not rent from here...these people are scum i paid 700$ to rent a pos car ... completely illegal .. broken windsheild , no passenger mirrior, check engine light flashing , car shook horrible when reaching 40 mph ... i couldn't even drive it and when i told them they brushed it off, i spent my own money to get it to a shop on my own time they wanted me to pay for another vehicle... they stated the vehicle they rented to me (single mom of 3) was unsafe to drive. they had to have somebody drive from victorville to kern river valley to pick it up ... then refuse to give me my 300$ deposit back stating i actually owe them 25$ . the owner said i should have purchased their road side assistant insurance!! my case is pending

This place has major issues...I called an ad on offer up about car for sell, I went down to look and decided I wanted to buy, but I had forgotten my license, so to hold the car they asked for deposit. I went to get my I'd and my dad got gravely sick so I didn't go back that day. I thought the hold deposit would keep the car for me, I came back on third day, and they had sold the car I had a deposit on, and had no others. They told me they are keeping my deposit money unless I came up with another 800 dollars to put down on car they will get in a week. Mind you I had no way to work everyday. They get an auction car and tell me to come to get it, but it's a car I would never drive or want,but I go down thinking we were doing same deal as before, I was wrong. So I left again with no car or money back. I am still trying to get my money from this place that did nothing to date to earn it except to swipe my ATM.....the owner Bob is the one who made all this happen.

I just had a bad dealing at this store. Im trying my best not to be upset. But I feel cheated out of my money... $330 rental Now $100 out of my deposit for mileage. The van ac did not work and we started with only a half tank of gas. I accepted the flaws cuz I was told 400 miles will be added to my trip so I didnt get charged for mileage . I picked up the van Friday evening at a auto body shop ..I departed from Bakersfield 6am Saturday and returned the van at 7pm Saturday (same day)....i was billed over 800miles.... Lompoc California is only 180 miles away no way I racked up 800 miles of traveling and make it back in Bakersfield before the sun is down. They took $100 for my deposit and argued with me about the van upkeep. I will no longer bring my business to this place. HORRIBLE

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!!!! Rented a van to go out of town, no air conditioner so had to go back same day to change vans!!! Worst place every, van was unkept, no air conditioner vents, van shook when driving, seats were hard, van had NOT BEEN SERVICED in years!!! Dangerous to tent a van here. Plus they charged us extra charged!!!
