Great service!! as always!! We have been using this company since back in blue ribbon automotive days! So well Over 10 years. Family owned business. They are always honest and even affordable, owner is reliable and transparent will show you what's going on with your vehicle so you can get a better understanding and that is a pretty rare quality in my opinion now days. For ANYONE to leave a bad review obviously is out to get someone. This is one of the best repair shops in town.

Sorry to say I had a rather "major" problem with this shop and wasted about 8 weeks working with them back and forth then waiting a call back.... They did a gear reduction on a 2000 2WD Excursion that was in extremely good shape, fine example of the year make and model very well cared for, no vibrations and going in for the gear job 3:73 to 5:13. Now I'm not a vibration specialist but a gear or transmission, driveline specialty shop is! Tires were balanced, drove very well and no prior vibrations when first delivered. Great solid truck period. After the gear install, vehicle had low end vibrations at certain speeds. They noted on the paper work yet never to me directly, that it was due to tire balancing. Wrong! Tires don't do low end rumble or so I learned investigating while taking it back for a checkup shortly after the gear job.So upon return to them I brought up the tires proper balancing and low end vibration which they felt now was driveline related since I said low end,. Like what did you not test drive it properly, are you deaf? So they removed the driveline and rotated it 180 degrees which can only be done at the rear not at the yoke. They drove it and stated it removed a lot of it and I should be good to go and if I had any problem let them know. It seemed less but not fully gone, so at that point I'm not sure what I am really hearing is it driveline, or the sound of the new gears, both... as gears have an audible break in period of up to 1,000 miles but this is all new to me. Well on the receipt they again add notes about driveline vibration possibilities but they wont tell this to your face, just "let me know if you have any problems and were here for ya."So under 200 miles later and only 7 days after they finished and signed off on it, it launched a driveline at freeway travel speeds. It could have seriously injured myself to other vehicles and sure beat the snot out of my truck. Tore the driveline in half, mangled, banged around, broke other things, body damage etc... Seriously over $2,500 in damage and the job is still not done as parts were not available and they never responded to my first call in, just well call ya back. I had to call them again 5 days later... I tried to work it out directly to minimize their and my cost but after talking to multiple shops, the tow company, my insurance company and the bureau of auto repair... They all agreed the shop was at fault and liability. They offered $500 to settle, beyond that I had to take it to insurance claims. I was willing to settle for $1,000 which wouldn't even cover the driveline bill let alone towing to all other damage done. They suggested I submit it to Insurance instead. OK....will do as well as Bureau of Automotive Repairs.....Either they did not drive it enough or were simply too pre occupied to highly suggest immediate repair to a potential life threatening problem. Simply send all drivelines out for a test balancing to protect your customer if tech has any question on its reliability. Don't hide something in notes on a piece of paper and say nothing to the face of your customer trusting you with a very rare vehicle. To me they fell very short of a good job. Now I have to have gears re inspected just to verify they did that job right.... Not a happy customer at all. Plus terrible area of town if your vehicle is left out over night good luck...... Lets just say they may not be there for you if you have a costly problem that is their fault.Your warned! Be careful who you entrust a valuable vehicle too whether new or vintage.
