I haven't been able to take my business to them, here is why. My doctor sent a referral 2 weeks ago for a DME supply. I called a week after to see if it was ready to pick up and they told me they never got the referral, called my doctor and asked them to Fax the referral again to which they did, called a week after to see if it was ready to pick up and they claimed they haven't received any of them referrals so I now ask my doctor to send it to a different pharmacy

Put in a prescription on December was told hey would call me when it came in as it was on back order . Fast forward to now , I called a week ago and spoke to someone and was told they would put in an order Monday .. April 1st. I called to check on the prescription I had reordered this Saturday March 30th only to be told #1 they don’t have it in #2 I can’t get prescription through them because I never picked up my last prescription that they never followed up with me about #3 they actually have the medication I need but it’s a higher dose and I still can’t order it . Unprofessional unreliable unbelievable this place is still up and running wit these business practices I’ve been a witness to these past few months !

I have NEVER had a pharmacy NOT bill my insurance. I have 2 insurances cards, which I gave to the clerk when i dropped off the prescriptions, and they did not bill either. I'm used to paying $57 a month( $171 for 3 months) for 3 prescriptions and I paid $270 for the 3 month supply at Komoto's. Since my prescriptions were not ready, (the day after I dropped off the prescription) until almost closing time, I had the meds delivered and I gave the pharmacy my debit card number. I was shocked to find out the total!! Needless to say, I will be going back to my previous pharmacy after this 3 month supply is finished.

We switched from CVS to Komoto about 6 years ago. We were tired of CVS staff "judging" us and our urgency for our prescriptions. The staff here are always willing to help. They have an app that you can refill all your upcoming medications.

Komoto never has the medication on time. I always have to wait 20/30mins more. Even though I called the day before.

Medication was called in by doctor but prescription was not done. Arrived before they opened. I was the first to arrive. Medication not ready and took them a hour. I will not be coming back. Very unorganized.

Always helpful and professionalWe moved away from the downtown area a few years back but have not changed pharmacies bc Komotos does not have that large chain store vibe. It’s personable and friendly.

Be prepared! Know what your insurance will cover AND what pharmacy accepts that insurance! It is difficult enough to get your prescriptions called into a Rx and keeping them current, w/out having "rude" people holding them up w/red tape! What exactly does it mean when you are told that your item is a "covered" Rx, but "we don't cover it?" "But...you can pay for it"! Have a pen and lots of paper ready when you call your MD, Specialists & Insurance to find out.

So far I've never had any trouble picking up my mom's medication for her there. Every time I've gone I didn't have to wait long.

This pharmacy is dishonest and only cares about profits. My daughter had tonsil surgery and was prescribed a paid medicine. I went to this pharmacy to have it filled and they told me that my insurance ( Blue Shield ) would not authorize this and that I had to pay full price. I didn't think this was correct but my daughter was in pain and needed this medicine, so I paid. When I got home, I called Blue Shield to ask why it wasn't covered and they told me it was covered. They put me on hold and called Komoto Pharmacy. The manager told my provider that she knew it was covered but that they haven't been getting reimbursed enough to make a profit so they have been making customers pay full price for this medicine. What a shady, dishonest business. I will be telling everyone I know, physicians, nurses and will be going to the medical board to let them know of this dishonest practice.

Staff is friendly and helpful. The pharmacy was easy to locate and has a great schedule! They open at 8!!! (unlike big pharmacies). Definitely coming back!

This is one of the most efficient and professional local pharmacies and they are always friendly. I am always glad that both of my Doctors prefer and recommend Kamoto's! They seem to have everything in stock unlike the others. They personally know your meds and provide proper dosage for individual needs with the on-site RX ability of creating your exact dosage or prescribed requests! I hope you give them a try... they never disappoint!
